Why bother fighting Randoms?

Featured Replies

Why would anyone bother fighting one of those river trollz or gollums or the evil chicken that just pop up when you get NO experience points for the effort? They drop junk of little consequence like feathers. Why do you get no experience points for these battle? Maybe things are different in p2p?

Well, i find it unfair that the random events give so less exp. If you didn't need food to fight them, or your health bar would be restored after the fight it would be better, but now i think people only fight randoms who could drop something useful.

cuz some randoms drop usefull stuff like:

rock golems - rune ores, bars, and rune pickaxes

shades - shade robes (dunno why but theyre 10k for a set i think, more money than that you would make in the time doing what you were doing like chopping magics)

and stuff like that.

me love tree spirits.

take them not away.

Back since June 07. 2000+ total.

Most drops you get from those randoms are junk (especially the evil chicken), so I find it usless to waste food and time on it - But I guess that many of those who do fight the randoms doing that for "honor", means: "Wtf?! no way *I* will flee from a chicken!"

Slayer: 85/85, Herblore: 82/82, Farming 81/82, def 99/99.

new goals: full sardomain costum from t.trails (2/6), slayer 87/90, attack 98/99

Dragon drops: 4 half shields, 2 dragon spears | whip drops: 5.

barrow drops: Ahrim's hood

You get experience at a reduced rate, I think 1 exp per hit of 4 damage.

its 1 hp 4 exp...

and rondoms can drop good stuff (dragon and good axes / pic axes, ores, bars...)

i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined

People can fight what they want right? All though originally intended for autoers, it has no become quite fun for some to fight for the simple reason of

"they are just plain easy". I can tell you it is the same in P2P and F2P for exp. rates.

You get the normal exp from Mr. Hyde

Before you hit the next level of them, they ARE easy, despite still being red (at least, if you are armed and armoured appropriately).

When you just move to the next level of them, they are LETHAL unless you have food.

And that Evil chicken is just....... EVIL!

The worst fight of the lot, for the worst drops of the lot - tougher than the randoms you get for doing something.

500+ feathers would be a fairer drop for it, instead of the 50 odd, an egg and raw chicken.

Drops?

23 whip pks,3 dhorka,2 ahrims lvl 119 attack 99 strength 99 and defence 92 plus 94 mage
