Gilformen
you also need 74 hunter to catch igneous jadinkos which drop marble vines, required for the potion itself. just so you know, the process can take a while. i probably spent 4-5 hrs hunting and farming in the habitat to end up with 7 farming pots. i'd rather just spend that time farming. 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore

It only takes a while to get started. Once you can get up one of the two herb seed only jadinkos you can easily get a big horde of seeds built up.Plus once you have the first pots you can use them when you harvest the herbs to make em which epically increases how many you can make.Plus spending your time just farming is in no way better. The combined herb, farm and hunter xp of making the pots is far greater than any extra farm xp you'd get by just farming instead; plus they hugely increase profits of herb runs. If you only got 7 pots from 4-5 hours you did it wrong. I mean an average farm patch gives out around 8 - 12 herbs if I'm not mistaken. That means from 1 seed you would get 7+ pots. Then using them pots to harvest the next seeds your looking at like 20 - 30 herbs from a patch when it helps and even if not u still gonna get another 8 - 12 to make more pots Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

With a juju pot it becomes 10ish.. I only EVER had 20 herbs from a patch, and never more than that.. (And I got all my lvls by farming herblore). First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Quyneax
My record is 28, but that aside... You need 64 herblore, 70 farming, 74 hunter as said before. Herblore can be boosted by 5 but that's really not worth it as it is such an easy and useful level to get anyway (While Guthix Sleeps quest requires 65 anyway). Farming can be boosted by 3 with a pie, on demand, so you can do that easily. Hunter can be boosted by 3 with a potion, and by 8 with the Ooglog pool, which is a bit out of the way. Overall, I'd recommend at least 70 hunter. Sy_Accursed
I thought average yield with super compost and magic sectaurs was 8 - 12 range, but meh still 6 herbs a patch average means only 7 pots in 4 - 5 hours = doing something wrong. Cause first patch 6 herbs...6 potsSecond patch you'd use 1 pot so have 5 pots left. Then you'd get either 6 or 12 herbs so you'd have 11 or 17 potsetc. Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Gilformen
i was hunting common jadinkos for herb seeds, since im not high enough for draconic, so even after hunting for hours, i only got one of the herb seeds i needed. thats why it took so long. the drop rate is awful. 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore
Quyneax
The drop rate is not bad, 1/5 is a seed and the herb seeds are not uncommon. I personally have more than I need (not that I need much, except for farming). But yeah, you want to use camouflage as the catch rate is terrible. And that camouflage takes a while to get. bedman
It takes an hour or two to get started, but once you got that, it's pretty easy, and it's good hunt xp. I started at 80 hunter though, so I just unlocked all clothes, and then did Draconics for xp, and got seeds on the way. You've got to see it as a whole: hunt xp + juju pots. Otherwise it is indeed not that much worth the time (well, it still might be, but less). A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
zotto
I did 70-80 hunter at herblore habitat and I got about 150 juju farming pots (Not exactly sure how many I used already) out of it, with 5 ugune seeds still in the bank. That said, I spend several levels not hunting something that actually drops herb seeds. I also noticed that once you get to draconic jadinkos it seems a bit easier to get ugune seeds. But honestly, put some time into it. It is well worth it. It makes a difference between little or no profit to HUGE profits. Hunt common jadinkos for a few hours and you are bound to end up with a fair stock of juju farming pots. Sometimes you have a streak of bad luck. Sometimes you get 3 ugune seeds within 10 minutes. This is one of those things you just have to invest time in.

Quyneax
Yes, common jadinkos would make you get withered vines as a 100% drop. No two jadinkos drop the same vine however, so if you were hunting draconics, you'd get draconic vines only (like different bone drops). Seeds are secondary drops, like rune chains, meds and adamant javelins.
