Ring of Kinship classes

Featured Replies

What class do you have maxed out on your kinship ring?

I have T7 in tank, and 6 in tactician and berserker, and I think 5 in a few of the mage ones..

Right now I want to max out tank and desperado.. Afterall, I still have a reset option on my ring... :)

I would reset, then get t7 berserker, blitzer and desperado. Tank is not perfect, gatherer is better because it works with keying and making ragers.

You get the tokens back you invested & lose all ring upgrades.

The only rings you should get is berserker and blitzer. All the others are sub optimal and generally a waste of tokens.

tactician ring is 100% useless btw

T10 berserker is a must.

T10 desperado or blitzer is recommended depending on whether you get a surgebox or hexhunter.

T10 gatherer, I use when keying because I don't have a primal baxe bind. Mostly a personal preference

I'd recommend T10 tank only if you key, and you dont mind shield-weapon switching or just binding a baxe.

Just to add to that: I found the blaster also very usefull.. T10 makes you don't need to have bind runes to "bind" the skelletal trio melee hero. (And the attack speed reduction is quite massive for things like demons).

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

blaster is useful, but I wouldn't use it on anything that isn't a boss, just because DPS is the most important thing.

The other thing is blaster is 100% useless on warped floor bosses.

you safespot dreadnaut/hope

blink and gulega are bad to mage

might work on world gorger, but I still wouldn't mage it.

and kalger is immune to blaster ring. Neither bind nor attack speed reduction will work on him.

and on skele trio you don't need to bind

just lure the meleer behind the mager/ranger

and on skele trio you don't need to bind

just lure the meleer behind the mager/ranger

that's if you solo, but in multi he'll swap targets too often (and wander inbetween).. Besides in teams luring isn't as easy as it sounds, a combo is deadly (he's terribly accurate, so 2 hits + ranger/mager on you = you're dead).

And in solo I just tank this boss out..

But really, do you guys have blitzer/desperado then on quickswitch?

I'm always walking around with gatherer on quickswitch (and beserker as my other option)..

they won't be able to switch targets if you lure properly.

a competent team + good lure makes blaster ring unnecessary for the trio team.

but it only takes 1 randomer to trample the lure to make it worthless, so it's up to you.

I like blazer more then blitzer personally, uses less runes. Then again, I don't do "pro" rushes, so I end up using more runes killing demons/warriors and such that don't actually need to be killed.

Other rings to raise would be berserker, gatherer, and desperado.

can't you replenish your ammo box by just logging out and back in?

If so, it's not practical in room clearing due to breaking door gates.

but perfectly practical for bosses because presumably you won't really need any door binds lying around.

either way it's not like running out of ammo is a bad thing. It just means you put your surgebox to good use.

anyways if you have 2 surgers in the room clearing team, then ammo becomes a non-issue.

i'd rather have the lesser overkill loss

Naaxi.png

Yes you can...but I find it horribly annoying to pick up all my items again, as well as loose any potential gatestones I put in the dungeon.

There's only like...3 bosses I mage, so it's hardly an issue to even consider it for that.

As for having two surgers making ammo not a problem...you'd be surprised

It's more of a preference then anything. I never said blazer was more efficient, just that I liked it more. It's also fun to soul split the blazer hits.

Also I find that the blazer can proc even if you "miss" ... And the blazer ring does DOT? Not sure how it works but if I remember correctly I once hitted a mrerc, and teled out.. Yet the ring was still giving some (small) hit continually.
