What he is saying is that anyone will have access to the forums, so anyone can just create a new char and lolspam away, because who cares if the new char gets banned. You know that some people spam just because they are bored. So forums open for f2p probably isn't a good idea, I know I would get tempted to create a new account and yell around and stuff.

How many people here are asking for the ability to enchant rings? None - or barely any. Yet, we can make sapphire, emerald, ruby, and diamond rings. Wouldn't it be weird to create something useless? Well it is, but that's still the way things go... :)

F2Per shouldn't have a disadvantage against P2Per in F2P server only because F2P can't raise a P2P skill, which has effects in F2P server.

A small part of Summonig is a must in F2P, like we have with RCing. If max combat level will be 138 and F2P can get maxed at 126 it is a disadvantage too.

 

I don't know a game where Free players can't get maxed out because they don't pay.

Just because it affects combat doesn't necessarily mean that it will be a freeplay skill. If you consider 6 million freeplayers being able to summon literally hundreds of familiars at the same time, can you imagine the lag?

 

 

 

What advantage would Summoning add to your combat level on free? It isn't like a booster skill similar to Prayer. In effect, you'd be summoning monsters to fight alongside of you, but there's a good chance that it would be restricted or outlawed in Bounty Hunter/Dueling.

 

 

 

Having 138 combat on freeplay won't make a difference. Since that level doesn't reflect overall strength, hits, prayer, etc (already at 99), it'd be no different than fighting a 126

I don't think F2Pers should get forum access. The only need for us to use the forum is to buy/sell things and the GE has pretty much replaced trading from player to player.

f2p probaly makes almost as much money for jagex as P2P, 150k people on a day at least 75k of them are f2p 75k people almost all of them gotta go threw the front page, if theres a new update 65k people will click it...thats alot of advertisement cash.

Why shouldn't they? Do you honestly expect to get the same thing (and I'm applying this to everything in life, not just RS) for free that someone else has paid to get?

 

 

 

F2P are getting updates. They may not like them, they may not enjoy them, but they are still updates. Just because F2P don't get the updates they want doesn't mean they're not getting any updates. *

 

 

 

P2P is the expansion pack of RS. All the fun stuff is waved under your nose to tempt you into paying. And, lest we forget, Jagex is a business. They have absolutely no reason to give F2P the kind of updates that F2P seem to believe they deserve.

In my opinion, we can't really ask for updates right now. Why? Because we already got a lot. I think we've had enough 'til september/august.
