Tim Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 i'd love castle wars to be f2p due ot my addiction to the mini game but its what keep me with membership so im fine without it. one thing though is skillcapes. i know that getting lv99 woodcutting, crafting, smithing and mining is WAY harder then P2P to get to 99 but yet those people who did more effort get less reward at the end. fair much? an as NJE03 said, i'd love to have something better then demons and not as crowded as those cockroaches. Also, try looking at the RSOF, the P2P players have screwed it up enough themselves. Adding all of the F2P world probably wouldn't help. I agree with you the forums won't be opened up to all F2P players simply because of lack of server space. If the requirements on F2P were to have over 1k total level, over 50 hours of playing time, under 2 blackmarks, but they blackmarks have to be x years old, y years of playing time and maybe a system for granting forum privileges similar to player moderator nominations. If the responsible F2P players are screened and allowed to use the forums, perhaps the overall quality could help rather than just paying $5 for a membership which isn't much of a screen. Because people WANT these things thus they will spend money for it. They wont do anything for free to play member except throw in their faces the cool things that members have that they could have IF they pay 5$. or the equivalent of a McDonald's happy meal. Guys if you seriously cant afford the 5$ fee then maybe you shouldn't be playing games (exception are kids not old enough to have credit cards). Hey, we had a thread going on around here some time ago about how we should get more bank space, and lo and behold we got more bank space! So of course we'll start thinking "well if it's some use to us, why not ask for it? We may (and have, in the past) just get it!" I'd say we're allowed to ask for a few things, right? It's not being unreasonable to ask for things, even if we are F2P. The bank space thing was merely because there are more items and they wanna keep the masses around (as most players of rs are f2p) so they keep getting money from their malicious ads.
