They are usually evil. They can be neutral if you want.

They can be what you want them to be (though if you make a CG male drow ranger with a panther animal companion...) but yes they tend to go for the chaotic and the evil ends of the spectrum.

 

EDIT: So, what're peoples opinions on using skype to aid in sessions (giving a manageable log for one thing)?

ANOTHER problem... The cells in the Xcel are all protected and can't be modified. :/

I found a way around that. Click review and then click "unprotect". It seems to work for me (let me look for a slightly different online generator as well)

Okay then barring any mishaps with the tools would people want a session today or would you rather wait a day or two?

 

EDIT: @icu if you absolutely have to (read the excel doesn't work) then I advise writing the character sheet out by hand (I don't need all too much honestly, but you need to be able to keep track of the things on the character sheet)

I'm fine with today or tommorow, though I don't have access to my PC until wednesday, so I'll be on my laptop, which *may* end up having some network issues, but hopefully not.

 

That said, it's entirely up to you. If you think you have it ready, then I am good to do.

It's a fairly open ended adventure path. However it's still an adventure path and I should have at least the first sessions worth of tokens/maps/notes prepped.

I'm up for today, if you're ready for that.

Yes, yes you did. Icu you have 8 hitpoints but other than that that seems about right. You have your characters starting wealth (varies, check the srd) to work with with outfitting your characters. I'd look at the equipment sheet for 3.5 (as almost nothing has changed).

 

EDIT: Oh and @ icu you also have weapons proficiency for the longsword (because it's Iomedaes favored weapon).

Could you post one of those item/weapon PDFs from the times we played 3.5?

 

Also, are Drows "kill on sight" hated or "don't get close to them because they're scary" hated?

I think i'll just go with a staff and leather armor. Hooray for dwarven staff monks!

It honestly depends on the place. Drow would probably be slightly tolerated (not killed on sight) but would probably not be let into cities (as a precaution against raids) and have some slurs hurled at them.

Monks usually use their fists. They get a ton of bonuses to unarmed strikes with little/no armour, and tend to be not very good if you give them any equipment past rings, amulets, and 0 AC items.

 

By the by, version is .b81, right?

 

And one other thing... Retech, are you playing a drow noble? Because I'm like 90% sure they get level adjustment +2, which means you'll be lagging behind massively in levels.

What is my starting wealth? Should I just go with the average one?

Unless it's modified by the a trait it's the rangers starting wealth which is 5d6 × 10 gp

Normal drow. I want to try and stick with the player character format as much as possible. I am also finding it difficult to use the character generator, so I will do it on there and make changes manually.

 

Are Scorpian Chain (Drow) available? They are two handed 1d6 reach weapons, bonuses to trip and disarm, and can use weapon finesse feat on them.

Yes, but it'll be a [bleep] to repair and find a new one (it's an exotic weapon so a DC18 craft weapons check is needed to create it).

EDIT: Oh and as a general note: Grappeling, sundering,tripping and disarming all generate attacks of opportunity unless you have certain feats for it (Improved X)

For the two trait and two heroic traits, where are the rules on that? Which PDF?
