Johannas
[hide]So if using an anti dragon shield and antifire potion protects you from 100% of dragonfire, how about if i just use one? For example will both items protect from 50% of fire breath adding up to 100%, or is the ratio/percentage different? Thanks. (and fyi i do have 90 herby banked, just cba to make 30k potions atm)[/hide] just decided to get the 5 herblore levels i needed for super antis. closed. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig! JPMC Mate
Antifire potion + pro magic = 100% protection from fire. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. Lose No Hope
I'm pretty sure antifire protects less alone than an anti d shield does alone. [hide]unbinding green's kidneys for ltk's heartdo you farm guam like me sir ltk[/hide]
Johannas
Azeem: That's not what i was asking, but thanks anyway. Last: Any idea how much? Enough for a bunyip to casually heal me when fighting blue dragons for example? Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
Doomster
Not sure if it's correct, but it looks like the antifire potion alone provides very little protection, so the shield is the greater part of the protection. The super antifire, is complete protection.
pure_fett
depends, are you at metals and ranging or at blues and meleeing... if blue's than yes, if metals and ranging prolly not. i don't play psykick anymore... i play 2ed: "pure fett" 26081 to get 99 herblore
Sy_Accursed
on the original matter its somewhere in the region of 70:30 - 80:20 I'd say with the shield being the higher number. Johannas
at the moment i'm meleeing blues with melee protect prayer, and an antidragon shield, whilst using a bunyip to heal me from the added dragonfire - it's working fine but i'd prefer to use a dragon defender and pots as opposed to a shield and no pots. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
Hegelstad
Antifire potion + pro magic = 100% protection from fire. I thought this too, but it does NOT apply to bronze, iron and steel dragons. I lost 10 mil because of this, i was 20 sec late to the grave and no [bleep]ing moron cared to bless.... Quyneax
On leather dragons (including kbd iirc) you can use antifire + protect mage and be protected, I'm not sure on brutal green dragons though. On frost dragons it also works. On metal dragons, it doesn't work on their long-ranged breath.
