Blutters Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 I have max combats as well as OVL and 99 Prayer and will get 96 Summoning before I go...What is the minimum gear needed to survive in a trio or so?(I have most of the important untradables...) ... Yeah just before someone makes the comment, I wasn't cleaned staking like it seems a bunch here were. Lol... SUPER EDIT!!:By welfare I now mean with the least amount of GP, so all untradeables are in-limitsNow considering larger teams~ I can get this stuff. Armadyl is basically the "welfare" of Nex. ACP void deflector combo being the best unless you can get your hands on Pernix. green9090 Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 I don't think you're appreciating the difficulty of the boss. Trio Nex is harder than solo corp. She's designed for bigger teams, so if you want to trio her you'll have to pull out the stops. Also, no team will take you in black dhide and rcbow. If they do take you then they're not going to be getting many kills. green9090 Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 I want to say yes, because of all of her multi-target attacks, but it's possible that a 25+ man team with yaks full of brews/rests would be able to overwhelm her and get a kill. The accuracy of unpotted stats would be abysmal though. You're definitely not doing it in a 15 man or less team. Therefore, with 20+ people, it becomes very difficult to out-DPS her healing abilities. A team of 20+ people without OVL has no chance at all. 10 is around the optimal team size for inexperienced users, I believe. A team of around 5 is optimal for people experienced with Nex.
