Bandos has the increased strength bonus, so if you're interested in hitting a bit higher, then it could be a possibility. Personally, if you have a lot of money to spend, I don't see why not, but if it takes up a large portion of your cash pile, then don't touch it.

I got about 150M plus I have enough herbs for bonus weekend, I have been saving my herbs from mtk from the last bonus weekend.

Yes, then definitely get Bandos, although some experts will say get maxed stats and Overloads before getting it.

I would say 99 all Melee, access to a Yak (but your summoning level works too), and 95 Prayer. Don't quote me on this though, as this is in my opinion. I'm sure an expert will tell you what is more accurate. :P

Do you have a fury and berzerker ring already? If you do, buy Bandos until you have enough money to sell it for turmoil.

of course I have a fury, but no zerker ring.

and to tack onto that, I have zero interest in mobilizing armies, so I am not likely ever to be able to imbue, which is what I havent bought a zerker, cause I have no intentions on ever imbueing it

Alot of people have it un-imbued because of the time it takes to imbue it, so yes, it is still worth it.

Max melee is actually not needed, if anything Bandos would speed up getting that.

 

If you are going to spend tons of money, you should do it in approximately this order: extremes (easy to get) > turmoil (better than extremes but costs a lot more) > overloads (good for bosshunting) > Bandos, Armadyl etc..

 

I'd put a unicorn ahead of all of these, and of course an iron titan/yak/steel titan is even better, but summoning isn't straight-up moneydumping.

I don't think he was advocating the use of bandos armor > beserker armor.

He was just trying to justify why others thought it was a better idea.

Tbh Barrows is just as good... And I have a 1.6b bank.

Bandos is unequivocally better than barrows in most PVM situations and all melee training situations.
