I need a 97 construction assist to finish this damn thing.

 

Been trying in 117 and assistclan for 2 days now, with now luck.

 

I either don't get to assister in time, or mostly I just havent seen many ppl offering above 95.

 

Can anyone help me out...please? :pray:

I have a question about effigies.

 

Are the two skills that they give you random? or are they usually paired?

Also, why is it that people are always asking for help in one skill if the lamps can ask for knowledge in any two areas?

 

I tried to look it up on rs.wiki and it's kind of general information other then the experience that each one gives.

There are 8 total pairs of skills, which always come together. One is always assistable, the other not. The pairs are:

crafting/agility

construction/thieving

smithing/mining

runecrafting/summoning

cooking/firemaking

fletching/woodcutting

herblore/hunter

farming/fishing

 

The skills on the left are the assistable ones.

Irony, I also have two effigies.

 

First they both were farming

Now they both are construction.

It's all good, just shoot me a pm whenever you aren't busy, I gave up actively seeking assist lol

You can also try visiting "assistclan" cc.

 

It isn't related to Tip.It or TIF in any way, but it usually helps you get through your effigies quickly.

 

The moderators are pretty strict there, just remember that you should only post one message every 8 lines (basically, post your message and allow enough time for other people to bump it off the chat box) or else you'll get kicked pretty quickly.

 

Also, if you offer payments (i.e., "Need Smithing assist, will pay 100k) you will be insta-kicked.

 

When you join just say something like "Need ## con/smith/etc." If no one replies, just wait a few moments and say it again.

 

(The same applies for if you are offering assistance. Just say "Offering ## farm/fletching/etc., PM me please" or something like that.

 

For just one final thing, if someone agrees to assist you, it's common courtesy to hop to their world.

Assistclan mods are complete idiots.

 

Their "one post per 8 lines", "kicking ______" "one effigy at a time" etc takes up more space than the guys who are "spamming" :rolleyes:

 

I just go in their daily to get my 30k cons exp and get the hell out asap.
