Shield of Arrav non-DIY?

Recommended Posts

So, training my diy'er today and I'm thinking about getting members on him soon, after I've finished all the f2p quests.

So its just Dragon slayer and arrav to go.

Would you consider doing the shield of arrav quest to be non-diy or not? Im completely unsure on this one S:

I don;t see why it wouldn't be DIY.

Sure you won't completely do it yourself (same as heroes).

But you CANNOT do it yourself you HAVE to use a second person. The second player used in arrav and heroes is like the equivalent of a tree to wc, its something you have to use.

Seeing as a partner is a required and intended part of the quest, beigndesigned around it.. It is kind of like asking if you can solo in the duel arena.

as long as you don't buy the parts it is DIY. (you can finish the quest before doing anything by just buying the parts and going to the museum, that would not be considered DIY). I think anything you HAVE TO do with more people is allowed. Quests, minigames, bosses etc. As long as you don't leech or buy stuff.

It depends on your definition obviously, you could argue that getting void is not DIY as people 'give' you the benefit of their presence (ability to start a game) then again you could argue that it is DIY because there's no trading involved.
