hey Tip.it community,

I am attempting to get 57-91 rc for hopefully obvious reasons..

and i was wondering what quests or maybe items would be most benefitial before i started, so that it could go as smoothly as possible

maybe even levels? higher agility? more summoning for beast of burdens? any suggestions will help

how long would you predict it would take to get from 57-91 rc using ur personal suggestions

Honestly, double nats aren't what they used to be....

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.
[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]

my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them me

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

well, what i was planning on is a good cash maker that would never get full

like if i were to get 85 dungeoneering (i think) frost dragons? From what i hear there super full.

I'd like a skill that doesn't rely on melee i mean i could slay for a while but how much cash does slayer really make you unless you get a random visage..and even then visages went down alot.

for instance rcing..no1 can ever stop me from rcing by having a full world..i can do it when i want and no circumstance can stop me (other then boredom)

double nats is horrible money.

you'd make about 600* more money killing green drags with your stats.

factoring in the time it takes to get to 91 and stuff. seriously. like 600*

It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true.

That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.

disregard good advice because the giver is a douche

THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON

That doesn't mean it's not beneficial to level runecrafting, so here goes:

Steam runes are pretty fast but they require quite a bit. You need a necklace of binding, astral runes for the magic imbue spell (which you can't cast yet I think), water runes, a steam staff, duelling rings, pouches, a fire/omni tiara, and pure essence. Use the rings to bank & teleport to the fire altar. Enter, cast the imbue spell, craft your essence, empty your pouches (small, medium and large), craft more, etc. You only have 10 seconds or so to do this.

Alternatively you can do ZMI which is slower xp & you will be under some attack part of the time (nothing bad). For this you need the lunar magic spell Ourania Teleport, pure essence, low-weight magic defence gear, a full bank, a large stack of cheap runes (fire, mind) and pouches. With the small, medium and large pouches & the stack of cheap runes you can bring 42 essence per run, so set your withdraw to 21. You can fill pouches from the bank with a right-click (for steam runes, you can do 41 runes per run).

In both cases, repair your pouches using NPC contact.

To make money, your best bet is probably frost dragons even though they are crowded, or tds, or dks. If you do not have a yak, tds are the best, if you don't have a unicorn, frosts. DKS require overloads.

Farming is the most reliable money and you should farm herbs (snapdragon, torstol with juju farming potions and a scroll of life).

Collecting mort myre fungi is better, easier money with a less saturated market than crafting natures. You can't be crashed collecting fungi, as far as I'm aware, and you'll rarely find other people doing it. People need super energies to make spec recovers, so there's no real chance of your profits diminishing over time.

Best part is that you can start right now. I remember reading a great guide for it on these forums. I'll try to find it.

EDIT: AH HA! http://forum.tip.it/topic/262591-guide-to-harvesting-mort-myre-fungus/page__p__4339635__hl__mort__fromsearch__1#entry4339635

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

99 melees, 99 range, and 77 magic? Why are you not doing combat for money is my question.

Yeah 91 rc is stable money.

Frost Dragons would be 4x better and still stable.

You can trade stability for immediate money if you do barrows or any boss monster.

With your stats there's no reason to get 91 rc, unless, of course, you planned on leveling rc anyway for your own purposes.

The only skills I would recommend training for you would be Prayer (to 95, because turmoil and soul split are amazing), Herblore (for extremes at minimum, overloads as best) and Summoning (to a high level for yak/steel titan, although in truth after you get a War Tortoise/Bunyip you'd already be pretty effective). Obviously, these all require money, so train them when you make some.

  • 1 month later...

yeah Ive heard lots of good things about farming, at the moment my farming is a measly 42..thanks for the input!

Reliability is what i want. Any other suggestions for a reliable income? or maybe to raise my farming from 42-62

You can farm toadflax, I farm toadflax; snaps and torstols are probably better with juju pots but in the meantime plant toadflax, doing 5 patches you will get 6.5*5=26 herbs per run on average, toadflax is worth between 4 and 4.5k each so 26*4250=110500 gp per run minus the seed/compost/tele cost which is like 2200 a patch. So an overall profit of 110500-2200*5=100k for 5mins work at a measly 42 farming :)

To get higher farming read this Epic Guide By Zaaps1
