Next time please include the word "non-fictional", "for real", or something like that. Too bad you're right, Veltia's last statement nearly ruined it, because he wanted it to be too realistic. Plus, you can't exactly carry them everywhere your target might go. On the other hand, sharp objects such as pens or car keys will not look suspicious anywhere and can be used almost instantly once you spot your target. Pluto is no longer considered a full planet.
