What solution do these contacts come in?

These are the contacts I have:

What solution are they in when you just open the little package and take the contact lens out? That solution NEVER bugs my eyes and always makes my eyes feel bare even when wearing the contact lens'. Any other solution I've used always bugs me.

You should probably not put that stuff in your eye, now that I think about it.

you shouldn't be using too much solution in your eye. I think that's the problem - there's this chemical in all solution that's supposed to break down proteins (which usually is the nasty stuff in your contact).

My doctor always told me to wash the contact and not my eye.

Pretty sure the solution that preserves it/breaks down proteins is polyvinyl acetate.

Lol did I word it that wrong? Umm... I mean when the contact is in the package, it's in liquid. You open the package, and take the contact out. These contacts last 2 weeks and you put them in a tiny container, which is what you put the solution in for the contacts to soak in while you aren't wearing them. Lol, obviously I don't pour it in my eyes.

This is currently the solution that I use:

This isn't what my packing looks like but this is what I'm talking about:

What is the solution they are sitting in when you buy first them and take them out of?

are you sure it's the solution? new contacts are just easier on the eyes than old ones

I get the same feeling Lep. Contacts feel so nice when they are fresh out of the package. Though, it's probably just what shadowfax said.

Same here. First day or two it's awesome, then it's downhill until the next month...

I'm bad about changing mine out. I probably go 2-3 months at a time with 1 pair. I know it's bad, I just never replace them unless they get torn or fall out.

Heh you use the same contacts as me, and I agree with the above that they do feel nice when you put a fresh pair in. Personally I never have to put them into a solution as I change them weekly (could do them bi-weekly but the optician suggested weekly) without taking them out inbetween. I did have a solution which the optician gave me with them the first time but I threw away the bottle years ago.

Actually, I think I used to have the solution you're on and it did cause me trouble. My optician actually put me on a new type of lens (still soft glass) when the company got bought over and the new people refused to continue the lenses I was on. My eyes are fine now, my solution was also changed from that to a different brand so it might have been the solution.

I once met a man named Jesus at a Home Depot. Is this the Messiah returned at last?

And i once beat someone named Jesus in a chess game. Does that mean I'm smarter than the messiah?
