Raiouken
Would it be possible for my character to take on the Dagannoth Kings to make money? Maybe with a specific strategy? I have 75 defence not 73, and I have a Dragonfire shield. Also, isn't it risky to bring in valuable items since it's hard to go and get your stuff back? Leik
Your only shot is maging Rex and even then you're probably going to be crashed alot. Plus, 75 defence is kind of low for Dk's. Quyneax
You don't really have the prayer/summoning levels for DKS: they are best enjoyed with a unicorn and/or soul split especially with low defence. Soulthresher
While it IS entirely possibly for you to solo rex, you're at a huge disadvantage without a proper familiar/high prayer/high defense. This is my suggestion: Bring Full Guthans to heal off Spinylops. Use your highest available spell to kill Rex or use charged godspells, preferably claws of guthix, while using a god cape. Use a Staff of Light for the +15%, I believe, damage to your spells. You won't be taking any melee damage so bring infinity boots to boost your mage defense. More than likely, you're just going to be crashed by a 138 tri-brid. Bring a couple of the best anti poisons you can afford, along with some prayer potions or super restores/saradomin brews if you prefer them. Your inventory is based on your skill set and what you're comfortable with.
Raiouken
I think I might give soloing Rex a shot with your strategy, and I'll get 95 magic for Fire Surge. Thanks for your help. Or would Claws of Guthix be better? Also, I don't really know anything about the DKs, so how can I avoid Prime and Supreme? Should I wear guthans while maging? I already have a Staff of Light and Guthans is cheap enough for me to buy now.
Dragonkng198
3 things you could try You can run in, kill Supreme once, and run to the Rex spot with Prime attacking you and mage pray for your whole tripRun in and attempt to avoid Supreme/Prime, but for the most part, Supreme will always see you, and Prime probably will anywayGet a 'suicider' who will run in with you, attacking Prime and Supreme, so that when they die, Supreme and Prime have no target, since your already in and out of their attack range Option 3 is your better option, and I'll also recommend getting an arcane stream necklace from Dungeontime if you don't already have one, as the extra +15% magic damage, on top of the Staff of Light's damage boost will mean you have a lot less chance of being outhit by any other magers [hide=Stats] [/hide]
Wkw
Your best bet would be to go duo mage with a higher lvl and shareWithout fire surge/cstaff/asn you won' get many kills, but you wont be crashed if your with a 138 who shares Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
Raiouken
Is this a good idea? I can go in to a world with lootshare on and go in while a team is there. I can go to the safespot and hop worlds to an empty one.
Trollface
You're fine as long as you have a bunyip and claws of guthix. Go with some hybrids for protection.
Raiouken
I don't have a bunyip though; my summoning is too low and I don't want to train it. I have Claws of Guthix, but wouldn't Fire Surge be easier to use and better? I'm almost 95 magic.
Wkw
If you're a newb, then the people who are in with you may likely try to kill you by getting all three on you. Go into a world with a hybrid. Thats your best bet Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
