So I'v been slaying quite abit and I now have around 20 effigies. I don't have anywhere near enough of the right levels to do them myself? Is there a good place to go where people with high skills meet to do effigies ? How long does it take you guys to get say 10 done?

 

Any other tips for someone whos never used them before are welcome....

The length of getting them done varies on the levels required; construction, rcing, and smithing all tend to be pretty hard to get done.

There's another one called 'effigies cc' but I'm not sure if that's still around/as good as assistclan.

If you plan to get a lot of effigies (aka go for 99 slay), I HIGHLY recommend getting the stats to do them yourself. Not only do you get free exp, but it's much faster.

In which stats would I need to gain levels and what level would I need to get them too in order to open all effigies?

 

I am roughly going for 99 slayer atm....:P

Each effigy has 4 stages: starved (needs level 91 to open), nourished (needs level 93), sated (needs level 95), and gorged (needs level 97). At the end you get a dragonkin xp lamp. The xp you get depends on how high your level is.

 

Each stage will require skills to open. Which will either be:

 

Fletching or Woodcutting

Cooking or Firemaking

Smithing or Mining

Runecrafting or Summoning

Construction or Thieving

Herblore or Hunter

Farming or Fishing

Crafting or Agility

 

All the front skills are ones you can get assistance for the other ones you cant get assisted.

you can also pot to open the effigies.

I can assist you with any cooking or herblore ones, including and up to the 97 level

Most people use stews or potions to help them do their level when they are too low.

 

I got 99 farming with a daily free assisting, 30k worth.

 

So, using stews, you "only " need 93 smithing for a +4 boost, or for instance 92 cooking because a chef's delight(m) boosts +5 at that level.
