I did Nomad with 80 range.

Kyatt is a must. Really helps. I mean, really. I first brought 1 sup rest./3 brew set-up w/tort that had restores and brews. Waited until I used em all, and brought out Kyatt. Spamed the heck outta that spec.

I did nomad with neitz (e), blk d hide, fury, ava's accumulator, snakeskin boots, rune cross bow (w/broad bolts), and spirit shield. I had a bandos gs (which, if you're lucky with a good hit, can lower his defense).

The pillar method is really good. You can avoid the bombs and when he splits to 4. When he splits, go hide and you'll have an aprox. 30 sec breather to restore and get out supplies from your tort. When he freezes you, pot up with brews.

It took me a few times, but as everyone else says, once you get how he works and what to do, you'll be ok.

This is good advice. I think people underestimate how muhc work you can make the Kyatt do. Sure it's expensive to use heaps or scrolls, but you kinda need to put some money into beating this quest. Your range isn't too bad, but a few levels would def help, even if you just get to 75. You'll probably just need more brews/kyatt scrolls.

Also being albe to avoid damage is pretty important so you don't run out of brews.

What I did after many, many deaths, was to follow an old thread on here. The poster suggested simply tanking all of his hits with prot/deflect mage on, and have a spirit kyatt from the beginning of the fight, with scrolls in your inventory and helm. Using this strategy gave me the best results ever, getting him down to healing and the berserker stage 4-5 times. Also use ruby bolts (e), as well as any leech curses you have. When I first tried doing him, I had 71 prayer, but motivation to get my quest cape back drove me to farm herbs and other money makers over about 2 months to get 92 pray and soul split. Of course my first try after getting SS I beat him ;)

I did starting runs with monkfish and pray pots to get through the moves. Can't hurt to try.

If you want to seriously upgrade your chances you're looking at 92 prayer or herblore, the first reduces how much you brew, the second how much you have to restore :). But ~5m expensive xp may not be in it right now.

My first goal is to get the quest cape. I am 6 quests short of it and one of them obv is Nomad Requiem.

I can't really get 92 herb or pray as my highest skill is 92 and even that is an easy and cheap one =/
