July 9, 201115 yr Well it's been about two years since I last played RS and im slowly getting back into it. My problem is, i have 194 black demons to kill and im wondering if ranging is the fastest way. if so, what should I use? or should I melee? Also, should I bank run every inventory of the infernal ashes or just let them be? it'll be bout 600k if i pick them all up :P At the moment im ranging them with rune c'bow with iron bolts doing around 80-140dmg on average. My stats; 80 attk 81 str 79 def ( 80k from 80 ) 82 hp 77 Range ( 40k from 78 ) 62 prayer 76 mage
July 9, 201115 yr Depends what melee weapons you use. I would go with melee, but I'm not quite sure. Than again, my ranged lvl is 64, so I'd take melee over ranged any day... Yeah, I think you should do melee, unless you want to train ranged, in which case, range. Join FC "w60_find_pen" For Penguins every week, and helpful people!

July 9, 201115 yr The way I do my black demon tasks is to set up a cannon in the taverly dungeon black demon area then melee them. Gets a task of about 200 done in under an hour. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

July 10, 201115 yr Not to mention taverly is filled with bots. If you want to make a profit, use CT with a combat/bob familiar and bank everything.
July 10, 201115 yr Use chaos tunnels with melee and a beast of burden to bank the ashes. It'll significantly slow down your task, however. Reason why I'm suggesting CT over Taverley is because of the amount of bots. (If you have 70 Dungeoneering, you can use the resource dungeon.)
