They seem to work quite well, but I'm not sure if they're better than hunters crossbow. At least the bolts are much easier to make. Range is pretty much useless against trolls and it took me literally three hours to complete the troll task with a rune scimitar. Next task is pyrefiends. I also got cash for a dragon scimitar by alching some junk in my bank. I hope the upcoming clue update won't require rune claws... The program and its source code is here, but it sucks. It uses the LÖVE framework which should be pretty easy to install if you want to try it out. I have no idea how it happened, because I didn't die and if I accidentally alched or sold it, I would've gotten a lot of gp from that. I don't really care about losing 100k, but I just can't understand how a scimitar can disappear like that. I also got lucky and managed to brew mature chef's delight, which means that can I do the Awowogei part of RfD with just 65 cooking instead of 66. I already used one drink to make a big pile of pineapple pizzas. Thanks to Boris for the idea of making pizzas.
