July 9, 200719 yr Maybe add a steel plate, since a lot of people use them for smithing. Having one on your bank might be useful then.
July 9, 200719 yr what dose f2p and p2p meen? :?: f2p = free to play - non members p2p = pay to play - members : The Destiny FOR LIFE
July 12, 200719 yr "All types of cut gems (if you cant cut a gem yet, still keep at least one of the cut type, but also store the uncuts too) " This poses a problem for randoms where you get 4 rubbies noted or 3 diamons (uncut in both cases), usualy having to do anything but trade for cut or have a trusted friend unnote them.
July 14, 200718 yr Some things to note- If one has done the Legends quest- silverlights and Maze keys are available. Also if you find you have accidently withdrawed something- click the insert button. When you move an item, instead of swapping, you will insert it between the 2 items For Zamorak and Zaros I live (V) (X) (X)Official Ancienter effective 2/28/07 at 10pm EST(X)
July 15, 200718 yr Hi, Its my first month of membership at runescape now. I have about 20 days left so i have played forabout 11 days. My member bank is almost full and im leaving fol holiday soon. I have the following question: When i become a f2p again will I lose all my member items that go over my f2p bankspace? Or is it so that i keep them and can use them again when become member again? Please tell me! Thanks!
August 14, 200718 yr Having never been P2P myself, this guide left me confused. How does it give you more than 60 slots in your F2P bank? Is it because once you go P2P and come back to F2P, all your P2P items remain in your bank but only the F2P items may be withdrawn? If this is the case, it should be made very clear at the beginning of the guide, for n00bs like me. :-) On a side note, does anyone know just how many [usable] items there are in F2P? Is it fewer than the number of P2P bank spaces? If so, that alone might be motivation enough for me to join members for one month. :-P Anyway, the guide was well-written and clear, aside from that one big question mark I had throughout. I am F2P-only and therefore all my statements will reflect that and should be read accordingly.
August 31, 200718 yr very, very nice. Can't think of anything to add! -KaosmerchantSend me a PM if you'd like any style of sig done - I'd be glad to help you out.

October 12, 200718 yr Thanks you for this great guide, its really helped me to fix up my bank. I have posted a picture of my bank for other people to use as a template and also for someone to help me with anything, because i must have missed something out. It's not perfect, but it works for me: i have saved a few member items for when i become a member again. Its still quite messy actually. :-k [/bads]
October 18, 200718 yr this is one of the greatest guides yet! i only wish I had found it sooner(before i became ftp). thanx, and keep up the great work. http://www.draynor.net/anim/apsitively.gif
November 4, 200817 yr Excellent guide! I wish I had found this a few months back....Oh, well. I am going back to mem for a month to finish up a couple of things and to fix my bank using your ideas! Thanks!
November 21, 200817 yr Author Wow, thank you again to everyone who supported this idea and helped recommend my guide to aow. I stopped playing runescape entirely like about 7-8 months ago and recently started again. I'm overwhelmed by all the updates for f2p that took place in the last 6 months or so, particularly the additional items and the bank update. So now I have to catch up to how things are currently and update the guide with new items for the checklist. I know this guide got pretty popular since back when I wrote it years ago, and most people would have figured out how to maintain their bank with the updates, because the concept is the same. But I know I'll have to get at least a month's membership (hopefully I can organize my time so I can join members long-term) and add the new items. I just want to keep the guide current so as soon as I figure out what the hell was added since I left I'll revise this Are you a member with a full bank and cancelling your subscription? Are you an F2P player that wants more bank space? Check out my guide on Going to F2P with a full bank
November 30, 200817 yr Great guide. I just wish I found it earlier because I just turned non-members 2 weeks ago and I discovered this guide a few days ago. :wall: Oh well. I'm going to be members in a few weeks, and then I'll use this guide.
February 10, 200917 yr Nice guide. I have been pretty much using this method myself for years now. Thought I would check it out and see if there was anything I haven't thought of though. I reply to ask why would you need eye of new for f2p. I am trying to think and it only has use for a quest in f2p if I am not mistaken. Unless you have it in there for gathering purposes for herblore when you go back to p2p? I also ask because I almost without fail forget to put in one or two things when I go f2p, and then I am like d'oh. Usually just small insignificant items, but items that are handy to have for a certain skills in training them. I am the type of player who would rather have tinderboxes and such then have to go to a general store every time I need one. I know some people say they are cheap and easily available. True. But I prefer the convenience of having everything I need in my bank. So, what's the eye of newt for?
May 13, 200917 yr Author Omg I haven't been on this thing in ages and this guide is way past overdue for a serious revision (last edited in jan 2006!!!). I will be going back to members this month, and I also will have enough time to add a lot of edits to this guide. One of the biggest things affecting this method from back in the days is the trade limit. I was in a clan back then with freinds from real life who I could totally trust with all my cash no problem. Now, even if the clan were still around, this simply isn't possible. If you withdraw all your cash or an expensive item, not only do you run the risk of losing that item if you die, it also reduces your training ability because it occupies an inventory space, and minigames such as fist of guthix prohibit you from entering if you have certain items on you (I think cash is prohibited). However, to the rescue, jagex has included the awesome withdraw option "withdraw all but one". It is right beneath the option "withdraw all", so please take caution and select it carefully. But getting in the habit of selecting "withdraw x" or "withdraw all but one" will save you big headaches. The thing about this method is that its ideal for people who want to go to members on a trial basis or are regular members who take time off from the game due to real life issues (like me :-D). I always want the option to easily go back to members and back to f2p seamlessly. Its better to have the option to do so even if you'll never need to cancel members. Plus the efficiency you get from maintaining a familiar layout in your bank, that in itself is a huge benefit. I'll add these points in the main guide, as well as the bank tab updates, and the new options for depositing and withdrawing. Plus I need to incorporate the new minigames and items because they've change both the banking requirements and the way many of us play. Are you a member with a full bank and cancelling your subscription? Are you an F2P player that wants more bank space? Check out my guide on Going to F2P with a full bank
May 20, 200917 yr Nice guide man, just about everybody in RS who's gone from member to non-member has used some variation of this at some point :D "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security." Support transparency... and by extension, freedom and democracy.
