nhp, i mentioned rares before. once you take out the last or all of any item you have in your bank YOU CANT PUT IT BACK. youd be stuck with your rare on your char until you sell it, let a friend account hold it, or get members again

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i have a few items in my bank that i can only have 1 of (forester hat, puppet, holiday hats and scarfs, etc) plus items like silverlight, amulet of ghost speak, and other quest-use items (although i suspect you can get more of some of them). i just never take them out. i dont need to, because its not like i have to use them, and its not like i have to clear out junk to get extra space. there is no point in withdrawing them.

THis is really good so if i come back to F2P i wont have to lose anything

Nice little guide, but one thing, you don't nececarily need to stock harpoons or lobster pots in your bank. The only place you can fish swordfish and lobsters is in Karamja, which you can only get to by going through port sarim, and there is a fishing supply shop right there.

lol yeah i accidentally withdrew all my gp! one of those dumb things i warn people not to do. i let a clanmate hold it for me and i had to play out the rest of my f2p time moneyless. well i could alch a few plates or something if i needed money right away, then id buy junk at the store or drop the rest lol

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyway im a member now but i might have to cancel soon so at least i have my gp back

i went members for a month but i plan to cancel temporarily again, so i'm just bumping this back up for personal reference. and comments ir questions are still welcome

You should have posted this guide earlier. I lost P2P and had to sell and drop my items. This is a good guide, nevertheless.

In my opinion if ur going f2p for a shortwhile, id suggest only leavin items to train none combat skills, i mean if you was a member and you are so used to whip ( like me ), i dont think you will have enough patients to lvl 100-300k with runes scimmy :D

well yeah, rune battle axe is my weapon of choice, but i dont really train melee in f2p. but theres still a lot that i do in f2p, like mining and crafting, or gathering materials. plus you never know when youll have to pull out that scimmy even if youd rather use the whip

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

im back in members again, but i'm thinking i can schedule my jobs so that at the end of each month i can turn off membership for a while. right now my bank is near full but theres no real reason to need to clear out anything. plus, now im duplicating even my member items, because i'm really hooked on my bank staying arranged the way i like and dont like to sort things back when i take something out

Hi. i am new to the forums and thi'll be my first post. This guide is awesome! Hehe i am currently f2p and still haven't ever been p2p. I really wanna be tho XD. I think I am gonna start stocking up on all the things that I want to keep multiples of now. Mostly because I withdraw all a lot and then my whole bank gets messed up. my tips (and i sure now how to clear my bank see below cleared a full p2p bank to that in 3 days) are to keep everything of value to start with like say d legs or something and take out all the low stuff and check general store, if they offer a good price sell if not drop, also alch any stuff which you cannot be bothered to sell but alchs well eg. rune scimmies alch for 20k and other items alch considerably well. keep doing this method and you'll probably be very suprised i made 300k on items which i never used and were, basically, junk which clogged my bank not too bad eh....

 

Cool guide. I do this myself, even though I'm p2p and plan to stay that way for a long time. It helps to keep my bank organized because I don't have to drag items back up to where they were when i take them out.

I always use that method.

even though you make 300k, the items you got rid of probably were worth about 3-4 times that amount. rune scims alch for 15,360. im sure you actually lost over 1mil gp selling to shops and hi alching items, and dropping items with no shop value. you could have kept them and still have your bank fully stocked up

 

 

 

there is absolutely NO reason to try to get rid of anything in your bank if youre leaving members. i have a full bank, and i have over 100 f2p items that i can use and store. you only have 60 spots. its actually possible to store over 300 f2p items in your bank while youre f2p, and you never lose the value of your bank.
