Cow
I have a few transgender friends, it always makes me disappointed that I don't see them in the clothes they'd rather be wearing. Especially the ex-boys, they have it much harder. Gender-identity-related crossdressing aside, I may have a bit of a soft spot for androgynes. >.>for those that didn't know that word, like me (being honest)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Androgyny It's quite interesting, adrogyny seems cool. I wonder if that means they have characteristics from both sides (male and female) thus making them a master breed of peoples? :-D I was under the impression that androgyny only applies to appearance and behavior, not so much with actual physiology like sex organs and chemical differences, etc. For example, in the Matrix (first one), the two lead actors (blanking on their names. You know who I mean. The guy who was the One and the girl who actually survives) were chosen not only because they looked similar to each other, but also because they both looked androgynous. Another interesting fact, the other girl in the first Matrix, Switch, is transgendered. Originally, her "real" body is the one you see in the movie while in the Matrix, she becomes a man. This explains why she, or he if you prefer, calls herself/himself "Switch", as this is never explained in the final version of the film. I think there might be a few vague hints that made it to the final cut, but Switch's entire backstory gets cut, which is rather unfortunate. There's a lot of sexual identity stuff in the Matrix, actually, especially since one of the directors is transgendered, although I forget which one and which way. Really interesting to look into, actually, and rewatching the film with this in mind really opens your eyes to things you wouldnt've noticed before. Just dropping a little bit of knowledge on you guys to contribute; a really interesting topic we seem to find ourselves discussing :) Also Hedgehog, that only works if it's actually closer to your birthday. Yeah I knew that about the Matrix, it's really interesting. My mom told me about that the first time we both watched it together, as well as the Lana Wachowski thing. She likes to know random stuff from IMDB. I wish they left it in the film.It seems I have quite a few GASM* friends, I'm probably close to fewer straight, birth-gender-identifying individuals than any other demographic. *(The term was proposed by some person somewhere I can't remember when as an alternative to LGBT; Gender And Sexual Minorities. I like it because it's all-inclusive, and sounds funny.) EDIT (Turns out it's an actual thing, and generally spelled GSM. I think this is boring.)Yeah I mean I guess I'm bi or something like that. I hang out with a lot of lgbt folk and my family was always fine with that sort of thing even before they knew that they had two queer kids. There's a really old photo of my parents at a gay bar surrounded by 90s lesbians. Lol. And obviously my sister is full-on transsexual, even the medical stuff. That makes me doubt that I could be the same way, it just seems too unlikely, but we have a lot of the same feelings about the topic.I'm really hesitant about the medical stuff. Like I know my body as it is is pretty uncomfortable sometimes but I think if I took testosterone supplements I would be horrified with my appearance. Chest hair, boobs, I would look like a bearded lady and probably feel a lot of weird mental changes. And it isn't all fixable (or affordable) so I think I'd rather not be in the middle. However I definitely think my matrix person would be a guy. There's a lot of sexual identity stuff in the Matrix, actually, especially since one of the directors is transgendered, although I forget which one and which way. This would be Lana Watchowski. Never actually noticed that though, very nice touch... Especially since most films treat gender identity as a punchline. ...I might actually have to rewatch The Matrix with that in mind, it seems like a lot of really subtle details didn't actually make it into the final version of the trilogy though... Shame, it would have made them infinitely better. Most films that involve trans characters treat them like garbage. It's very depressing how its finally unacceptable for gay characters and actors to be asked intimate details of their sex lives, or described by slurs, but these things happen all the time for trans actors and characters. And that no one seems to care yet. You should check out Orange is the New Black. It's on netflix and aside from having an awesome storyline and passing the bechdel test with flying colours, they have a trans character handled respectfully and even played by a trans actress. I think that's really really cool. I'm sorry what? I generally consider someone who does hard drugs someone who doesn't have their shit together.Fair enough, but cocaine is very much the white upper class drug. Its definitely not as terrible as other hard drugs, and I could see why someone going wild on the weekends and normal on the weekdays could have their shit together. I'm not going to see him again though. If you can afford to do coke, you have your shit togetherIt's actually not that expensive. It's a terrible idea, but its comparable to drinking or smoking. A gram is 50-60 here, while green is ~15, but it has far more potency. Idk about crack. So why isn't anyone here discussing The Lego Movie >_>It was fantastic! Cow
I consider using 1g/day to definitely not have your shit together. Really measuring your coke habit by /day instead of /month or /year. Cow
To completely honest, I couldn't find drugs where I live even if I tried. I'm not saying that they aren't present, but I just wouldn't even know where to begin looking. To be honest, they aren't anything special. And probably aren't worth getting into. I found out so much about myself by dropping acid and shrooms all those times, but it probably hasn't been worth it. And just for pure chance that those police didn't go through my make up bag or ask about my adderall, I'd probably be in jail. It definitely isn't worth the risk to get in to. However, just make those kinds of friends. Start going to movies with stoner friends and letting them smoke you out, offer to buy them drinks or popcorn or whatever for it, eventually ask them to cop for you and after a few times ask who their dealer is or if they know anyone. If you ask any of your friends that aren't straight edge type about finding a dealer, they'll probably at worst say no. Harder drugs are more difficult to get (and even less worth it), but mj is called the 'gateway' for a reason haha. After you've established relationship with a dealer or two for pot, ask them about acid or shrooms. Those aren't seen so negatively as coke or molly or whatever, for whatever reason that is I don't understand. And then much later on ask about the hard stuff. I wouldn't ask my regular girl about coke, I wouldn't want her to think of me like that. Alternatively start doing escorting off of the internet. Lots of guys will give you drugs. ***this is all terrible advice, do not even try honestly. it isn't worth it*** So I found out that a good friend of mine on Rs has cancer :/ Shit man I'm sorry. However I definitely think my matrix person would be a guy.During the period of time in which I considered transgenderness, even before I decided it would be worth sticking with the worse gender so as to not inflict upon others the sight of me trying to be feminine, I concluded that I would never be able to be happy with medical solutions. I'm pretty sure my friend's transgender girlfriend has been taking estrogen and whatnot, but I'm also pretty sure she's not keen on the whole genital restructuring or chest-poof-outing thing. I honestly don't think she needs it, she does a good job of being cute and girly as is (she would probably punch me in the throat for that, though). 1 10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes? Cow
'Worse' gender? And yeah I think we feel similarly. Too invested in our current bodies to make that kind of change. Especially for me, there's no way to have narrow hips or be taller or have male plumbing, I wouldn't see the value in trying. That just goes for me though, I think it's awesome that people are able to and choose to. Sort of how I am the most pro choice person I know, but I think that I wouldn't have an abortion myself.I think if I were born a thousand years later, and this sort of thing was quick easy and low risk, I would probably do it. Isn't everyone a bit gender noncompliant lol.And yeah its kind of scary, in a good way, how quickly things changed for my sister. Mentally and physically. So much happier. /awaiting a ban for giving advice on how to find drugs.

Or at least you won't get caught. Bigger fish to fry.As to the body guard thing, absolutely not. I think a pimp would help maybe if it was a more dangerous area but from my experience it was kind of a solo thing. And I kept mace on me all the time and I know self-defence pretty ok. @Mere, yeah a lot of people here seem to be on that filth. Or just the people I associate with. I would take percocet every hour if my body and wallet could afford to. For me at least, that stuff is way too addicting. Its hard to even be around any more.
