January 13, 200620 yr this is probly the wrong forum but i do not really need "help" in that sence... in the tip.it discontinued item guide one of the faqs is: "is the old diamond still around?" or something along those lines... and the response was "no they got changed into new diamonds" now i have no idea what either of these things are... but i read a random post saying that one of the old diamonds was brought back from the lava... is this just completely random? so, what are old diamonds? and why do people think there rare? siggity siggity shwa
January 13, 200620 yr if im not wrong (this is really fragile because i only had a emerald back then)its just like the half wine it was a old object but this one diddnt stay in excistence(spelling?) and was changed in the new diamond but its such a long time ago i dont know it anymore

January 13, 200620 yr old diamonds were items that were introduced BEFORE the introduction of crafting to runescape. They were handed out (supposedly) to the top players of the game, as a little hint of what was to come (supposedly bluerose13x got one)

January 13, 200620 yr As has been said, it was changed. However, what wasn't said, is that they were simply a test on the active servers. Way back when, there was a time when mining ores didn't give you a gem randomly. However, they needed to test the new "gem while mining" concept on a larger scale than just a private server, so they introduced diamonds into the game, and let people mine them. Once they fixed the bugs, they added the other gems, and changed the old diamonds.
