The other two came in as well, for a total of 1126 jade iirc. That's 874 off the morale hull :D. I'm rerolling voyages liberally now, as there's no use doing the bad ones. Atm, two ships are going after jade (97%+ on 6500/6500) and one is going for bamboo. Got a Sagittarian shortbow + arrows, hoping to get 100 more arrows and hex sometime (74m xp left to get hex). Ports-wise I sent out the Bowl story voyages for convict & assassin. The joint mission was for 6 laquer. Bought 2 of each basic Bowl crew as well, 400 jade left. 5800 all for the crescent isle unlock, going to send that when those Bowl people are a bit higher level. Overseer + Sea Witch + 1 of each type basic = nice all-round stats. I hit a max of 497 in 330 hits. I'm 99% sure the max is below 504. My guess is that its max 500 or 400+range level but the old cannon's max was independent of level. It seems that the chances that you didn't hit over 497 while your max was 544 (which is just one hit I observed, could be still higher) are pretty much zero, so that equipment and/or stats, potions etc. do affect the cannon. Ports update: Rolled second judge of dice, got horrid specials today, only doable mission being one for 20 spice. So yeah, got 22 spice now. 13% to zone. Edit: 14% to zone, sent out 1500+ jades worth of missions, bought jade rudder. Jeremy was nice enough to lose 5 CW games to me (<3:), so I'm that much closer to hybrid helmets :). Sent the Whaler's story voyage for the Scythe, and the dual Whaler/Biologist 6 plate mission was replaced by a scroll mission (sent at 83% or something). Since I bought the last lodgings upgrade that requires bamboo, I'm pretty sure I don't need any anymore. Gunpowder and slate are now pretty close to useless as well, so no more short voyage spams at the end of the day. Ports: got second Tetsu leg scroll, 20 more spices, 28% to zone. Also Whaler Scythe story done, sent a 2 plate mission as well (trying to get some cherry voyages but this is better), got another 20 spice mission and one for 360 jade. Bought 4x cannon upgrade, now saving for the next rigging. When you buy cannons, your default rigging graphic becomes Ornate instead of Oxskin, which means my ships look much nicer now. Skilling: ~1.7m xp to max, 600k mine/smith and 500k fish. Desert tasks need to hurry up! Also finished Kiln, finally. With obsidian armour it's a joke, but pretty fun. Edit: Whaler/Biologist again, sent Whaler for story (6600 all fml, but got 100% with effects) and Biologist for scroll (81%, 3rd tetsu legs). Still bad captains, chimes black market. Bought whaleskin rigging. Only ship upgrade I've bought so far is the Hull of Glory, going to just get to 10k jade now and hope I don't meet any -600 jade penalties along the way. I'm finishing challenges to have none left when I max. Charm sprites are pretty slow. Ports wise, got a second 10k captain :D. Morale focused and he came with awe-inspiring. I also have a mission to give him a second awe-inspiring so that's great. Sent out a mission for 3 chi and a scroll mission too, 4th tetsu leg scroll.
