I'm not an efficienado.

I know that to do double sharks and to bare-hand catch them it requires 96 fishing, but I was curious what might the xp/hr rate look like with a sharktooth necklace? Do I get bonus xp for the extra shark?

Ok best way to get 99 fishing and make profit yet not slow enough that I might kill myself before achieving it?

Barbarian/c2 fish to 99, then use the hours saved to make money in some other way.

See this is an amazing way of telling people to do c2. I think I just might. Is there a decent guide on what to do?

Start floor one complexity two on your own. You can only get a small so that's decided automatically.

Do the floor as quickly as possible, just like a c1. When in the starting room sell the katagon weapons you get and buy a fishing rod and 250 feathers.

Any time you find a fishing spot, fish it. Drop the fish. You can drop them while running and of course you don't have to drop the last ~15 fish, nothing wrong with ending a floor carrying raw fish.

You can either leave the floor before boss and start again at floor 1, or you can kill the boss and finish all your frozens. Definitely avoid the slow bosses such as the planefreezer unless you also need to rush your lower floors.

Around 50-60k fishing xp for all frozens at my level (84), much more at 90+ fishing. Up to 10 minutes per floor depending on fish count, but generally a lot less.

I thought that C2 fishing was only worth it because of the time also saved by completing the dungeon (you would've C1'ed these floors anyhow)

At 90+ fishing it's also worth it for the fishing xp only. If you don't value agility xp, 80+ fishing is probably also worth it.

Well, there's a few things to do:

1) Only do frozen floors.

2) Kill all monsters with turmoil active.

3) Evade slow bosses.

General dungeoneering skill is a great help.

Don't do sharks, because they are verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slow even at 90+.

I'd recommend fly fishing at Shilo, or fish rocktails at Living rock caverns on Worlds 84 or 77.

Since you asked, when you catch double sharks, you don't get any additional xp for the second shark. You'll get the same xp as catching one shark. Much like the seer's headband's 10% bonus for chopping maple trees, the xp for sharks is so low to begin with that the necklace could give ten times as much bonus xp as it does and they still wouldn't be worth catching (unless you really want a stuffed shark for your trophy room or something).
