Tim
Long story short, I just moved states in Aus, and during then (2 days) someone hijacked my main account and Jagex refuses to allow my recovery details, despite them working before and everything written into a logbook I have and all my wealth (~120m) is now "down the crapper" So now I'm going back to an old account I used before I recovered my main originally (as I said, long story) with NO money basically. A friend gave me 1m to start off so I brought a Whip, Dragon boots; I've got rune legs, torso, glorys, Elite Void armour (ranged) w/900 broad bolts, d def, 104k cash and a few other bits and bobs. Where should I start to make money again with my skills, because it seems like slayer is just a totally dead skill now and alot of gathering skills are destroyed by bots. Sy_Accursed
I'd say step 1:Do mort myre fungi as a low end money maker and do as many of the daily money makers as you can especially naff's battle staves.Buying and reselling the staves yeilds ~1k per staveIf you make them into elemental staves and high alch you get ~2kThen get mtk up and running asap. In ~1 week max you should have enough collateral to start getting into the cheaper good money makers again; like dragons and tht kinda of thing. Saradomin_Mage
You can farm snaps so that'd add another source of income that doesn't require too much effort. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
Quyneax
You can buy 10k spirit shards (per 4 hours) from the GE at ~15 gp each and sell them to a pet store (Taverly, Yanille) for 25 gp each. Sometimes they sell for even less, a few days ago I got 50k shards at 6 gp each, which made me 950k. There's of course a few stores that allow you to do the same thing, mainly unfinished broad bolts/broad arrow tips from a slayer master (the store is shared, so you can't visit different masters for more), Naff's battlestaves, Ooglog's bird meat etcetera. Pinta77
Woodcutting is decent way to make money. There are almost no bots at the tree gnome stronghold, a near by bank, and a farm patch. So if you have at least 72 farming, you can have 2 magic trees and I think 3 or 4 yews, and bank them quickly.
fudrick
Woodcutting is decent way to make money. No, it isn't. You can probably make better money collecting white berries in the Red Dragon area in the wild.

Kimberly
Sacred oil is currently an afk method for 1.5m/hour if you sell correctly. How do you do this? Never heard of sacred oil before It's an item gathered by doing the Shades of Mort'ton minigame. Themed world almost always has the temple built where you convert olive oil to sacred oil. You can buy olive oil from the shopkeeper in Mort'ton.

Would you recommend putting in an offer for like 100k of them at 15 - 20 each, and just leaving it there until they buy?
