brad1431
I am almost at torstols and soon I will get my hunter to 83 for herblore habitat so I can get jujus for farming torstol. But I need to also get to 85 farming. How should I do it?

Zeno
You don't need 83 hunter for ugune seeds, frankly im 75 hunter and i have 4, one from hunting common jadinkos and 3 from burning curly roots in the jadinko lair. And about farming, just do a couple runs of palm trees, while doing yew trees once or twice a day Do calquats along with those trees, they are great gp/xp Do poison ivy runs on the side Also, you can just use garden pies/stranger plants to boost your farming to 85, so you can do torstols now to help cushion the loss from the farm runs Stats[hide][/hide]Click for my adventurer's log
brad1431
anyone have a pro torstol farming run, I know I need to get faster run times if I want to use juju's and I need a good herblore habitat guide, I have read the one on hear a bunch of times, and I still dont get it... I dont know the difference between common or other kinds of these jadinko things.....
Hedgehog
Tab to trollheim, run to the patchteleport to catherby, do that patchecto to portardy cloak/skills neck to the ardy patchexplorer's ring to the fally patch The last 4 can be done in any order. You can also use a camelot tele instead of a catherby tele if you're not on lunars (although you should be).
Serpent Eye
anyone have a pro torstol farming run, I know I need to get faster run times if I want to use juju's and I need a good herblore habitat guide, I have read the one on hear a bunch of times, and I still dont get it... I dont know the difference between common or other kinds of these jadinko things..... Start at My Arm's patch (if available) so you don't waste your Juju timer running there.Once at My Arm's, drink a dose of Juju and harvest/replant.Ectophial and run to Canifis patch. Harvest/replant.Explorer ring to Falador cabbage patch. Harvest/replant.Fishing guild teleport [Lunars] and run to Ardy patch (or Ardy cloak 2/3/4 and teleport to Ardy farm) Harvest/replant.Catherby teleport [Lunars] or Camelot teleport and harvest/replant. That's the method I use. I like Catherby as my last stop because there's a bank nearby for when I'm done with my run. You could also move My Arm's to anywhere in the run if you've unlocked the Lunar, Trollheim teleport spell from Livid Farm; it takes you directly to the patch, so you don't waste Juju time running there. Edit: Hedge beat me to it. Like he said, the order in which you do Fally/Canifis/Catherby/Ardy doesn't really matter, it's all personal preference. It's just important to start at My Arm/Trollheim first.
ghjkl
If you don't get the hunting part then kill jadinkos in the jadinko lair or burn rootsWith explorers ring and ardy cape 4, you can do farming runs in around 4:30Without ardy cape, your best bet is skills neck to fish guildThe teles:TrollheimEctovialExplorers ringArdy cape/skills necklaceCamelotDo troll first and drink the pot before picking
brad1431
Should I start using a pie and planting torstol at the patch that doesnt die?
ghjkl
You should start using a pie and planting torstol at every patch. Actually you might want to wait until prices stabilize.
brad1431
I dont have the cape or the ring, but I can work on them, most of my levels are high anyway... now I just need to learn herblore habitat, How does killing jadinko in the lair help? ghjkl
Go to the offering table to the southwest and spend all your points on seeds (the priciest option) attract carrion jadinkos and ward off everything else beforehand

Doing this you should have no problem getting the time under 5 mins, no matter what kind of teles you use or in which order you do them.

For curly roots, just chop (you get 4 roots per chop) until you have a full inventory, then take them to a fire pit, light with a tinderbox, burn-all and afk (like cooking). 200-250k xp/hr and inferno adze affects the roots as well. Quyneax
Yeah, I meant the cleaning herbs bit. Curly roots are both good firemaking xp (cheap mainly, but also pretty good) and decent seeds, probably worthwhile for you. Or..... for an easier way... just have the Lep note your Unid's. :P
