enfield
like I know I won't survive if I try it. I just won't. I need a uni *and* virtus. how pathetic is that. And even then my death rate is atrociously high. I used to think everyone who could survive with a steel titan was just a small sub-set of the glacor slaying rs population. But it appears, to my discomfort, that more people than I thought can do it. So I can't help but think that something is...wrong with me. Maybe I just never developed good habits though, because of my reliance on my unii. Like I often let spikes/explosion hit me because I'm just too lazy to move and I know the uni will take care of me :). But then I only started being super complacent about taking damage and everything because I hated when I tried to avoid all those things and accidentally failed. This way I never fail because my goal isn't to avoid those things. I still get 50+kills/h (closer to 45 if I'm watching a lecture or something) so I guess its not imperative I adopt the steel titan method. but it still bothers me slightly. how is someone like me..judged? Sy_Accursed
The most concerning part of all this is you have a DEATH RATE.This is clearly not wrong and shows far to much laziness, the average rs monster hunter should only be dying at most once a month; and even then only as a by product of a lag spike or minor attention lapse. Most monster hunters don't die anymore than once every 3 months, if ever (to my knowledge). You're problem pure and simple is lazy habits that you need to break by actually avoiding the spikes and the explosions. transcript80
You are not insecure about using a titan. You are insecure about your laziness. Either stay lazy and use a unicorn, or use a titan and pay attention. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
Quyneax
Well, I still let the unstable hit me sometimes and I don't need brews with a unicorn, so you don't have to change that part :P. Practice your soul split flashing and just take a titan next time. Simply refuse to ever summon a unicorn. Sy_Accursed
I'm pretty sure that the average PVMer dies more than that. I'm mainly basing it off clanmates who aren't pro monster hunters, but do a lot of pvm but none of them die more than once every couple of months to my knowledge. Sy_Accursed
They're lying then. On what grounds?I don't monster hunt much and am truly appalling at it but in all my years I've only ever died once in proper pvm and that was when I was like lvl 60 at the kq and had massive lag spike and once to Glacors, again from lag, when they first came out. So it hardly seems a stretch that most decent monster hunters don't die. Kimberly
They're lying then. You're assuming they take the same amount of risk that you and people who play like you do. It's pretty easy not to die if you over-supply or go in large groups, like most inexperienced PVM clans (which seems to be what Sy is basing his facts on) tend to do. Most PVM my clan mates do is duo or solo, aside from the odd 6-man nex trip; not that I personally partake in PVM. Kimberly
Sorry I used an 'and' instead of an 'or' The fact still stands. And unless you take offense: I meant to give none. You said your friends were 'not the best pvm'ers', so I said 'inexperienced' to match your own description. If that's incorrect, it's because I went off the information you gave. Sorry for the mistake.
Sy_Accursed
No offence taken but yeah inexperienced would be the wrong term; after all one can be experienced but still not the best ever.I'd consider myself fairly experienced at football having been on a saturday football team for 2 yrs in primary school, then playing most lunchtimes for 5 yrs of high school plus PE lessons and kick abouts up the park in summer but it by no means makes me good at it! So how are my figures wrong since i said "most monster hunters don't die any more than once every 3 months, if ever"? Perfectly covers you as it is saying good MHers die at MOST once every 3 months if they do even die at all.
