World
I've pretty much made Prayer, Antifire and Ranging potions up until level 82...anyone have any idea on what I should make the rest of the way? I want to make things that can sell easily in GE so I can at least get some return back. I also want to spend only 150m more on this stat as well. Advice please? Winarr
Make the shit you need for ovls. Otherwise you're just shooting yourself in the foot. This, or theres no real point in going 80+ herb if you arent going to make the non tradeable pots.

The_Fray
I agree with the above, also I recommend making spec restore potions as well, they are good xp and useful as well. You forgot the most expensive secondary ingredient, torstol.

TheKoolKandy
I'd recommend making a spare few hundred super att/str for casual slaying/minigames if you do that kind of stuff. If you intend to only boss hunt just make the overloads. You need to look at the big picture when getting 99 herb if you don't want to waste money going past 99. Generally over 1000-1500 special recovers is excessive imo, I've only gone through 300-400 in the two years or so I've been able to make them, but of course it all depends how you like to boss hunt. Always good to make a few hundred super antifires as well if you enjoy slayer. Slayer; it's just what I do.Thanks Hugger 88 for the awesome siggy!Click show if you want to see achievements.Achievments: Maxed/Comp'd 7th of August 2012. 120 Dungeoneering sometime early december 2011. 99 Slayer achieved October 22nd, 2010. 99 Prayer achieved September 99 18th 2010. I'll be honest with ya...I haven't trained combat (lvl 116) in well over a year and my slayer level has been stuck at 54 for a year and a half. I've never fought a boss let alone SEE one during my runescape life. My goal is 99 slayer down the road so i'm making the overloads for that purpose...as for antifites, i have about 300 normal ones but I also have a DFS. Aiel
from 82-84 spec rests (2058 spec rests) with the log out trick/greensmans. From 84-85 use greensmans to make super antifires (1463 super antifires) from 85-88 make extreme attacks+strengths to use for slayer (2510 of each), from 88-98 (400k to 99), make 3750 MORE of each extreme (attack/strength/defense/range/mage), and 3750 overloads (use greensmans to make the first 797 overloads). Use the remaining 400k xp to make super prayers (~1500) /extreme ranges (~1600) for personal use, or save it for opening effigies. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). The_Fray
Sell the DFS its useless after you make super antifires. Well I suppose it has its uses at bosses but since you wont be bossing it is a pointless to own one. Get the super antifires because they will speed up kills and allow you to use a defender. Quyneax
Neaer 2.5k You get 2900 xp per overload includding extremes, so factor that into the equation. That's 2200 (220+230+240+250+260+1000) and that means you need to make about 4k overloads to 99 herblore, starting at ~4m xp (level 87). Powerfrog
I'd definatley recommend making a lot of spec restores if you ever want to do certain bosses. (Bandos, TDs, sara, nex...) Hell pretty much any boss that is meleed, including corp with a stat hammer. Plus they're kinda cheap compared to other extremes (Or at least were not long ago. Prices seem to have rose recently.) But yeah as everyone else says, extremes all the way. That's the entire point of training herblore and if you don't do it now, you'll just be wasting 100s of millions later on when you need them.
