purpose of torag?

actually guthans pl8 body is best in game (better then torags) it has +5 range def higher then torags

Back on topic: There has to be some level of quality (both good and bad) for everything in the game. Or perhaps we're missing something about Torag's and there is some great way to use it to get PKs. Who knows?

sure im up for a fun duel most of the time. (rsn-jessy61071) but whatever, i got no problems with that seriously if you get the time show me with some lame spell so i can see how good it actally works id be rather curious :)

torags minus worthless hammers, add whip, rune boots and tzhaar/ crystal or dragon shield = highest def in game and of course whip owns for training.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Friend and I stood side by side, he had full dharoks with lo hp and pot, and I had the above, we both have 99a 99s. in ten minutes training on trolls, I killed 8 more trolls then he did. Axe hits high, but not often enough, whip is consistent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tried veracs also, meh, compared to my set up, I dont get hit often and hit higher then veracs and more often. At 3 mil for torags minus worthless hammers..quite a bargain.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guthans is sweet of course, but at 13 mil more then torags, that buys a lot of food and pots, and since I train on trolls and get 100k exp from one load of lobs.....meh.

i dunno where this skewed misconception came from, but i have a feeling it maybe derived from, verac's skirt vs. torags legs theirs about 8 point diff in ranged def.

IMO torag's special would be pretty sweet in cw, have a bunch of torags all attack the flag carrier or stand outside the wall and drain the run energy of the opponates to leave them open from abuse from the mages and rangers, too bad theres no helm in cw...

Not really, when using a bandage on yourself, you recieve 20 energy restored. Besides, any decent flag runner shouldn't have people chasing him at melee range. There are plenty of tricks you can do to get away from people.
