Featured Replies

i was killing lessers in kara (im f2p) and i though of this.

why dont lessers and greaters (and any p2p demon) drop bones, demon bones, or somethign to that effect?

im sick of seeing ashes and stuff. the same for spider bones.

Because Demons are spiritual beings and spiritual being don't have bones. That's why the lvl 19 ghosts don't drop bones!

I believe it's because they're not actually of this plane or something like that. They're creatures summoned or forced into this world by the works of evil magic. I believe the logic behind it is that when you kill a demon it's body is consumed by the flames of their own infernal (Hellish) dimension. Now don't ask me why they drop items because that's something I can't logic out.

demonic ashes?... must scatter at crossroads("X"path)1xp

edit...this is only a suggestion i got the idea from the official forums of runescape.com

That demons drop ashes is fine and makes sense in my opinion. That its the same kind ordinary ashes that you get from burning wood is not however.

Yep, I agree with that. Simply spreading it for the wind to get prayer exp would be fine - I have wished for that since the first demons were added to the game. Scatter at crossroads for more prayer exp would be nice though

That spiders, scorpions, kalphites and others doesnt drop bones also make sense, as they dont have any bones in their body, they have an exoskeleton instead. Back in the very early days, scorpions and spiders dropped bones, and players kept telling Jagex how wrong that was from biology point of view, so Jagex changed it.

Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)

Dragon Drops: 5 medium helmet, 3 left shield half

Obby: Maul 1, Cape 1, Shield 1

Isn't it weird that you see a demon's skeleton in The Golem quest then?

I've stopped playing RuneScape. KoL's better.

i guess some demons just have lives here on...Runescape... and mabie they wernt summoned (delerth, lessers, greaters) mabie...dunno mabie, thats a thinker

That demon has probably stayed in our dimension for so long, it is completely incorporated and severed from the Demonic Plane; so when it died it did not return to its own dimension.

Spider bones? Excuse me, but do you hear the sound of bones cracking when you swat a fly? I think not.

Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims.

on topic: watch some vampire movie or buffy and you'll see if demons drop bones. demons and vampires are kinda the same; when vampires expose to light they turn to ash and disappear.

they dont all incestes have a exoskeletion.

Anyone else ever wonder what it would be like having a exoskeletion insted of bones?

I think it would be simular to finding out your friend put supper glue in you full rune after your wearing it.

Oh right, because a game with magic and 3 second fletching abilities is really keen on being biologically accurate.

If the lessers dropped bones it would even be more crowded than it is already :?

2016 goals: all skills +30mil xp - Completed this goal 11th December 2016 smile.gif
2017 goals: get at least 3 more master capes (start xp: invention done@21st Jan, mining done@2nd April & ranged 76/104mil done@June 20th) & all skills +40mil xp (done 24th August)

Yes, it is, and that is a very good point, but like someone pointed out, lessers would become VERY crowded if they dropped bones, especially big ones.
