Melee Brawling Gloves

Promise

Recommended Posts

I'm guessing hellhounds or greater demons in the old bounty hunter volcano would be good. Alternatively, get a freind to no arm you and constantly eat while you attack him.

I hear that the gloves last for X amount of hits instead of X amount of XP, so it's best to use a strong, slow, weapon such as a godsword or chaotic maul.

Well, you want something you can use a salve amulet on ideally, something with high health and something with low defence. Pretty sure there isn't such a monster in the wilderness (:() but you can fight hellhounds like Powerfrog suggested.

You can use a whip or godsword, not sure which is best. You get 50% more time with the godsword but also a lot less xp/time.

Not sure if the large skeletons in edgeville dungeon would be too weak, but you can use a salve amulet on them and they're in the wilderness.

Also you could kill ankous or skeletons if they still have them in the old volcano.

Used my brawling gloves right after I got 98 attack. Got over 500k exp from a single pair of gloves. I used DH on black demons, with welfare gear. Didnt take a pic, but got over 60 crimson chins, 3 half keys, some ranars, and 200 addy bolts. P pots paid for themselves.

Best part is. Under an hour and half. Used about 14ish p pots.

About 2.5k exp for a single hit. I was constantly hitting 400-750 realm. Used the poison spiders and skellys to keep my health low.

Dharoks is a good option. But being in the wildy with 50hp isn't the smartest move. :P

Risked wealth was only 700k, so I figured the exp gained in that hour was definitely worth the risk. Also went into a quick chat world...don't know ANYONE who pks in a quick chat world. lol

And its also 30 hp, not 50

West of the mage arena is a dungeon with fire giants, always empty. They are close together and no one is ever there. I recommend using them there because I believe that will give you the best xp/h considering all the monsters in the wilderness. Dharok could be fun, but it's too much of a loss if you ask me.

My main issue wasn't the cost, but the gloves themselves. If you're at 30hp and someone spots you, you're going to die. If you're at 900hp with food and teleports you can probably escape and keep the gloves.

But honestly, when i get a pair, i'm definatley dharoking, it's awesome.

@Promise: If you get pked in dharok you will lose a bit. Whether or not you think it's a loss depends on how much money you have. To some its a loss, to some it isn't...

700k risked wealth makes it well worth it. Even with a 2m bank I would still do what the OP did. Money making is not hard, you can easily make 700k in less than an hour.

How do you still have brawler gloves? I thought they were unnattainable now?

Revs drop them (altough it seems extremely rare) and if he pk'd a lot he probably has lots. I still have about 20 in my bank and i've been activley using them lol.

are they no longer able to be sold in the GE anymore or people just wouldny dare selling them?

If I died, then it wouldn't have bothered me. I never took the time to "hunt" for these gloves, they were just a bonus to my drop, so they had little value to me. I'd like to add, if you see a dot on a mini map, then just let the greater demon attack you. The area isn't multi combat, so if you're already in combat, you'll be fine.

I believe they changed wilderness mechanics so that players can attack you and you stop fighting the npc, not 100% sure on that though.

Yes they can. And that's part of the problem, as you'll be in constant combat if someone appears, they have a full 10 seconds to KO you. Best option would be to tele as soon as you see them, but it could be too late as one range/mage attack will kill you at that hp
