pulli23
Hi there, Another task I don't have gotten earlier: mutated jadinkos.. With my slayer level I can beat both the guards as well as the babies, if I aim for profit which of those should I kill? - And how? First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Kimberly
Guards would be better profit than babies but their profit is overall terrible. Just using your normal melee gear and heal either with SS or Unicorn. Or food if you don't have either. If money making is your goal, you're better off killing something else or even just gathering stuff.
Artemis1330
skip for a different task. I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.

nattylite4me
I can't believe you guys skip these. I get 500-600k a task (not including a whip vine drop) and 15-20 Blues a task. The Guards have a fairly high combat level (145) and go down pretty fast with a rapier so these are also pretty good effigy droppers. Not to mention the 15-20 Herblore Habitat Herb seeds you will get from the offering stone which is awesome for the amount of time it takes to do a task. The only negatives these have are the fact that they are un-agressive and they aren't one clickable. But if you take into account the solid steady profit (and the chance at a 4m drop + an Elite Clue) a solid effigy drop rate, 20 Blue charms per task, good Slayer xp per hour, and 100/140 HH herbs you would be crazy to skip these. But, if you aren't looking for any of these things by all mean skip them. Edit: I make Bolas from my Excrescense so I coun't that in my profit. If you don't bother picking those the cash would be halved.
Swiller2
The one and *only* reason I don't skip these is to build up favor or whatever it's called and hopefully get Ugune seeds for Juju Farm Pots. If i have a ton in bank then I skip.
pulli23
What makes them so bad? Kimberly
They're bad because of many things, but the most relevant to you being you're killing with profit in mind. They have no real good drops to speak of, and the only silver lining of them would be the elite scrolls and the favor you get (which in turn translates to good seeds depending on overworld setup). Quyneax
Mutated jadinkos are great profit per task but tasks are so long that that great profit is stretched out over a lot of time. Even something like hunting two green dragon spawns is better gp/hr. Quyneax
If you look at all slayer monsters assigned by Duradel, sorted by slayer level:[hide]Dagannoths*Black demons*Black dragons*Fire giantsFungal MagesGoraksGreater demonsHellhounds*Iron dragons*Kalphites*Mithril dragons*Scabarite minionsSteel dragons*VyrewatchWaterfiends Bloodvelds*Suqahs*Warped terrorbirdsAberrant spectres*Dust devilsSkeletal wyvernsJungle strykewyrmsGargoylesDesert strykewyrmsAquanitesNechryaelsSpiritual magesAbyssal demonsDark beasts*Mutated jadinkos (males)Ice strykewyrms*[/hide] Top half requires no slayer level, bottom half does. Monsters marked with a * are considered worth doing. And Kuradal:[hide]Dagannoths*Black demons*Black dragons*Blue dragonsFire giantsGreater demonsHellhounds*Iron dragons*Kalphites*Living rock creaturesMithril dragons*Steel dragons*TzHaarVyrewatchWaterfiends Terror dogsBloodvelds*Suqahs*Warped tortoisesAberrant spectres*Dust devilsSkeletal wyvernsJungle strykewyrmsGargoylesDesert strykewyrmsAquanitesNechryaelsGrifolarooSpiritual magesAbyssal demonsGrifolapineDark beasts*Mutated jadinkos (males)Ice strykewyrms*Ganodermic beast*Ganodermic runt*[/hide] You see there is a 'rage stretch' running from about 60 slayer (spectres) to 90 slayer (dark beasts) of creatures not worth slaying.
