February 18, 201214 yr Author Was thinking of fighting Jad myself for my own cape. Did you note any significant change aside from his new looks? Well, it doesn't help that the new magic attack animation now also involves Jad moving on to his hind legs, which was something that I reacted pretty poorly to. The old 'just use deflection prayers and don't attack Jad, and the healers won't spawn' tactic doesn't work, because the healers spawn when he's at half health no matter what the cause. That might not be a recent change though. As for the ranged attack, the slamming movement is faster than before, but it's more noticeable and far easier to react to, so I'd recommend protecting magic by default. ~ W ~

Fire Cape's not worth it. Need more defence. I assume the response would've been "liar" or "Teach me the ways of gentlemanship". As for the cape, kinda sucks. I was going to attempt it, but computer was laggy on my end and I didn't have my food fix. Terrible is that I don't have a fire cape yet. There is the chance you could pull some gambit and try to use your current fire cape as sacrifice material, but that's silly.
