Newb = New, low leveled, inexperienced player

Noob = Some random insult that the little kiddies throw around too much.

Choob = Some knowledgeable player that intentionally acts like a newbie just to be annoying.

Sorry, but in my opinion, we're all "noobs." Not to sound offensive or anything, but the only reason why it's so offensive is because people make it offensive.

So let's make it positive eh?

Oh Magey, you're such a cute nooby wooby :)

You stop being a noob when :

- U dont ask stupid questions : ( "Where can i dye my bronze armor in black??????")

- Dont make stupid things a noob would do : ("Collecting 100 clay to sell it at a shop, get rich, buy an addy long and kill zezima!!!!!!!!!!")

also when you dont call someone much higher than you a noob for being owned by them.

A noob ceases to be a noob when they realize that they are, in fact, a noob. And try to do something about it.

A newb ceases to be a newb when they realize how the game works.

Noobiness has nothing to do with skill or combat levels. Noobs are annoying players who know nothing about gameplay. :P Once you can go around RS without asking for info, begging for free stuff and pestering high levels then you can stop being a noob, regardless of what level you are.

P.S. Don't ask level 124's what their str level is.

a choob is a cheap noob.

like, "selling lobster, 50M"

or "trading me amulet for a whip!"

Noobs and newbs do come from all kinds of aspects, so anyone can be a noob or newb for that matter. Combat levels don't really show who's a noob and watnot, since it just shows that you're a certain level from killing so and so NPCs. Although being a higher level would mean that you're a more experienced player, it shouldn't be stereotyped as if your this level, then you're a newb, and if you're this and that, you're a noob. Hell, even players over 100 combat can be noobs, or in this case, a choob, lol. Plus, a player who's a high level can make another account and that won't mean his new account is a newb. Overall, it really depends on the person themselves. The typical stereotyping players based on their combat levels won't just cut it these days, as there are all kinds people out there. Let's take an example here. Supposed someone played RSC for a few years and gotten to level 100 without RS2, versus another player who played on RS2 and gotten to that same level in a year. The RSC player wouldn't necessarily be a noob since he's dedicated all this time to be who he is today, rather than the other guy who was lvl 100 by being a member and using a whip or so, who could still be a noob since one year wouldn't really cut it. Simply put, it's ultimately who you are and what you do that determines yourself in the game, .
