rasochiz
Hey guys, ive been playin runey 4 a year and am lvl 51 combat with almost 800 total score. I was wondering at what lvl u considerd a skill to be a non nooby thing, i imagine it will just rise as you get better and better. However i think 50 is when u can say that u are 'good' at a skill, as this is when the differences between lvling up begin to become significant. Im only 50+ at one thing and that is mining. remembering that this is a skill only thing (not combat lvl) Ive drawn up wot i consider to be a guidline for how good u r.... lvl 1 - 20: noob lvl 20 - 30: Begginer. but keep trying lvl 30 -40: Trainee lvl 40 - 50: Apprentice (insert skill here) lvl 50 - 60: qualified (insert skill here) lvl 60 - 70: proffesional (insert skill here) lvl 70 - 80: leading proffesiona (insert skill here)l bsc with honours lvl 80 - 90: Dr of (insert skill here) lvl 90 - 99: Proffesor of (insert skill here) Would anyone agree or disagree? Bubsa
It would help if you didn't confuse the terms "newb" and "noob". This thread is pretty much void now. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
tmottbg
You stop being a noob when you stop acting like one :) . You stop being a newb when there is nobody a higher level than you to call you one. OoC Overseer Eet mor kabbig!

novakk
Noobs are simply people that annoy other people in MMORPG's. If you don't want to be called a noob then don't annoy people.
Barihawk
A noob ceases to be a noob when they realize that they are, in fact, a noob. A newb ceases to be a newb when they realize how the game works. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

ForsakenMage
Sorry, but in my opinion, we're all "noobs." Not to sound offensive or anything, but the only reason why it's so offensive is because people make it offensive. So let's make it positive eh? me_poulin
well in RSC people would say that 60 was not noob anymore but um now with people getting 100 combat in less then a year I'd say 90+.... Once in a life time!
Ocelotbren
When you have 99 in every skill? I'm all for the abolition of the word noob, Jagex should censor it. Hah I wish they would censor it. Just think of what the chat would look like... I don't understand how there's an exact definition of "noob/newb". I mean, maybe a lower level or someone new to the game is a newb but I think "noob" is kinda pointless now. Bren
wispywispy
I don't think combat is really that hard of a skill to train so noobs can get to like 40 easily... noobs will always be noobs :P
