February 6, 201214 yr Hi! I am studying Games Development at college, and as part of one of my assignments i have to do an essay of the effects that shoot-em-up genre of video games have on people. I am conducting a survey in order to get all the required information needed for my essay. But i am having trouble in finding enough people to take the questionnaire, if you guys have any ideas on where the best place is please let me know. I know that cod or battlefield forum would probably give you biased information, but maybe the xbox live forum could give you some good insight. Is there any way that we might know the results of the poll in the future?

I currently have 68 respondents, close to my goal of 100!I have gotten some interesting feedback, and like i said i will post the results on here. So, keep clicking the link :thumbsup: Didn't really understand the last 2 questions, but I did it. Basically the last two questions i ask "Do you believe that this description is appropriate for under 16s and also i ask the same for under 18s?". What i am trying to ask you is "do you think that younger or older people should be exposed to this type of material", i.e. do you think that a 16 or 17 year old should be playing games which contain extreme violence towards realistic looking humans or animals(including torture, massive blood and gore)". Do you think that level of violence is appropriate for under 18s or maybe 18 or over? I then ask you to give your opinion/feelings towards this subject. Sorry you couldn't understand it, but i hope i have cleared things up for you :mrgreen: Thanks, Luke.
