February 7, 201214 yr Just wondering. Attack 76Strength 74Defense 76Constitution 77 Magic 78Ranged 76Prayer 61Summoning (I doubt it matters) 56 Access to ancient magicksNo access to any special quest related or otherwise prayers. Also, recommend any tips? I can always look at the guide but don't hesitate to tell me any tips or warnings that isin't covered by tip.it's guide. Will it be a cakewalk with my given stats? If I die, will I easily be able to recover my items? RSN: Cool Guy878 "D2S" (lost all my friends after a 2 year break, feel free to add me.)
February 7, 201214 yr -You can do it.-If you get your magic up to 80, you can use PPS, which people say is good. -If you are concerned about some parts, watch a video of someone.-I've had problems in the past on High-Detail, where at wave ~55 the graphics suck out and you are kicked out, so I play in Low-Detail.-Won't be a cake-walk unless you are pro at prayer switching and running around.-If you die, you keep all your items and appear right outside caves. You lose any potions/food/ammo you used during the Caves though. I've never seen Sixth Sense nor Inception nor many other popular movies and I intend to keep it that way.
February 7, 201214 yr From the looks of the question I don't think you've done any background research on Jad at all. If you're doing the ranged method, which looks likely with those stats, it's not really a "cakewalk" with any stats. You need to practise the timing and prayer switching, learn which attack he's about to use, and prepare properly on the wave before Jad appears. Also learn the sounds, where he spawns, where you should be standing (Italy Rock) and how to get the healers off him. There's a very precise way of defeating the waves leading to Jad, make sure you've put it all to memory. Accept the fact you'll probably fail the first time, whether that's down to human error or lag. It's a safe minigame; all items are retained on death, except the ones you've used of course (bolts, potions etc.) Statwise, if doing the ranged method, I'd like it to be 80 ranged but 76 is fine. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
February 7, 201214 yr At those stats it'd be reasonably tricky; for it to be a cake walk you really want all 90s then can use melee methods using spec restores and claws for fast jad downing, old fashion but tried and tested ranging methods or the nice and easy mage tanking via virtus or ganodermic with pps or soa to tear them to shreds. As for dying its a safe game, you get booted out with all your stuff when you die. February 7, 201214 yr I did Jad at 72 ranged. He should be fine as long as he knows what he is doing.
February 7, 201214 yr I'd go for 80 attack and a chaotic rapier or 80 magic and a polypore staff at least. February 8, 201214 yr I'm sure you could do it, but it definitely won't be a "cakewalk". Especially because your constitution isn't very high, you won't have much leighway for messing up your prayer on Jad. Just make sure you know what you're doing with the prayers and you could certainly do it. February 8, 201214 yr I got my first fire cape with worse stats than that (ranging). But I have to say, get 80 in your melee stats and a rapier. Then it'll be a cakewalk. Asmodean <3
