February 20, 201214 yr We have made two significant changes to our forum layout. First, the RuneScape News forum has been made a subforum of the Announcements, Rules and Security Warnings board. This was done to make some room for a brand new forum: Introductions, Farewells, & Forum Account Help. This forum is the new place for people to introduce themselves to the community, inform people that they will be leaving or taking a break, and for people to get help with their forum accounts. As a result of this change, the Introductions & Farewells sticky in General Discussion will be locked and archived. February 20, 201214 yr Like Ambler, I always felt there needed to be a special place for new people to introduce themselves to the community compared to having a sticky. In fact, it took me awhile to actually find the thread because I thought there was a forum for it. Cheers to the new forum. :thumbup:

So many times have we been spammed with people introducing themself, not knowing to look for a sticky thread in a single particular spot. With this new board on the forum, that should cease forever. And that's a welcome relief to my eyes, as the moderators won't have to go around locking so many threads. |^_^| ~D. V. "Woot! Welcome, newcomers!" Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
February 29, 201214 yr Cool beans Tripsis. I've always thought that introduction forums were a neat idea for forum communities. Doubling as a farewell forum is good too. Check out RuneScript and RuneTracker!
