MyWorldHero
So, I went to see how much 99 range would cost me, and forgot about bot nuking. With the jump in prices, and lack of bots, would it work to just catch my own chins? Also, about how many red chins would I need? Ambler
About 20k chins, so quite a few hours of hunting. A mix of Avainsies ans chinchompas might work well for training now I think about it, but not 100% sure what you can afford already! ^^My blog of EoC PvM, lols and Therapy.^^My livestream- Currently: Offline :(Offical Harpy Therapist of the Mad[hide=Lewtations]Barrows drops: Dharok's helm x2, Guthan's helm, Ahrim's top, Hood and skirt, Torag's hammers, Karils skirt, Karil's top, Torag's helm, Verac's skirt, Verac's Flail, Dharok's Platebody.Dag kings drops: Lost count! :wall:4k+ Glacors, 7 Ragefires, 4 Steadfasts, 4 Glaivens, 400+ shards![/hide]
Quest_Cape_K
I'd say more with about 30k-40k if you go at 200xp/red chinchompa.
Hedgehog
It's only worth it to catch your chins if you can't make more money elsewhere. Because you're not 96 total with only 63 hunter, you have much better options. In summary: don't hunt your own chins.

Ive always been pretty bad at making money, and ive blown almost 5m on 30+ solo kree kills with only some black dhide bodies to show for it Do something that scares you everyday
Lord Paul
Farming runs, MTK, and dailies (such as battlestaves and broad arrowheads/unf bolts) for starters. You need to work on combat some more before you start bossing. Green dragons are pretty decent profit; slayer is a good idea for total levels, even if it isn't always profitable. Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Dusk Souls
Aviansies are also pretty nice money, I got 192K profit for a long hour trip and my range level is quite bad compared to yours.
Lord Paul
To be frank, 192k/hr is really, really bad. Just about everyone should be able to make at least 3-400k/hr. Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Dusk Souls
Is that so? Damn, I really need to step up my money-making methods....
MyWorldHero
Is that so? Damn, I really need to step up my money-making methods....Remember though, your 192k was made ontop of whatever range xp you gained. The minimum 3-400k mentioned is going by pure moneymaking methods, which focus mostly on the gp/hr instead of the xp/hr. Avi's have always been said to be a good cross between gp/hr and xp/hr, so they arent the best for either, but give you both in acceptable amounts. Hedgehog
Generally, it's much faster to go for fast xp and make money in the time you save. Therefore, aviansies are not good, because you lose both xp and gp.

Aswell as these, you can buy harpoons from fishing shops which insta-sell on the ge for a good 200k profit per fishing store for about half an hours work. Fallstar
With your stats, ideally you'll want to level dg. You could just kill green dragons, but if you can get 65 dg, which isn't even that much xp, you can cannon blue dragons in the Taverly resource dungeon, which will firstly get you a decent amount of ranged xp, and secondly make well over 1m/hr profit. Ideally you'd get 85 and do frosts, which are about 2m/hr without a yak, which would be beneficial all round as you'd get your rapier on the way. Quyneax
Aviansies could be decent actually but you would hunt them with high offence gear: void ranged w/ deflector, Armadyl chestplate/dragonhide body, glaivens/fury/archer ring, rune/chaotic crossbow, runite bolts and alerter. Pray eagle eye, bring ranging potions (3 per hour) and bring a bunyip for healing. You may need a Zamorak item as well but I don't think there are any good ones so try without first :P.
