What should I get?

I currently have 200k dg tokens and already have a rapier, as well as t9 berserker, blazer and blitzer rings. Should I buy a chaotic staff, or get a t10 ring?

I glacor a lot, so the extra 5% damage could help, but I would be losing the SoL ability to save runes, so I'm not sure if it would save money.

I don't really like slow weapons, and I don't range much so Ccb and maul are out.

Thanks in advance!

I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?

If you glacor alot I'd say get the surgebox first.

Already have surgebox, was wondering if getting a chaotic staff would be better at reducing the cost of runes per trip than a SoL would.

Pretty sure it is, you're also saving runes by using less casts after all.

Well, a glacor is roughly 80k in loot + charms/effigies. They have 5000 lp and glacytes have 3000 together, but ~500 of that is free from the unstable.

You can use a sol and hit 80-960, or cstaff and hit 80-990 (roughly). That's an increase of roughly 3%. Say fire surge is 1200 gp per cast, 1050 with sol.

On a whole glacor, you will use ~10 casts (ignoring accuracy/csb) to kill it and one to lure the enduring. With cstaff you use roughly a quarter of a cast less, which is 400 gp.

So for sol, that is 11*1050 = 11550 gp per kill, for cstaff that is 10.75*1200 = 12900.

You will also get roughly 2% more kills per hour which is 1-2 kills extra, worth 80k each. If you started at 30 kph you'd profit (80 - 11.55)*30 = 2.05 m/hr. With cstaff that would become (80 - 12.9)*30.6 = 2.05 m/hr (even the third decimal is the same, lol).

tl;dr it's really really close and probably not worth getting cstaff for, but cstaff is every so slightly better due to effigies. Really can go either way.

From what you're saying it sounds like a chaotic staff isn't worth buying for glacors.

Two new questions:

1) Is it worth getting a chaotic staff for anything?

2) Which t10 ring upgrade do I get? Berserker will only add 1% strength boost over t9, and blazer will give an extra 2.5% damage boost with mage, while blitzer will give a 1-tick speed boost all the time, instead of only 90% (Which is a pain to ss flick, by the way).

Currently leaning towards Blitzer, but am undecided.

And please, no "DPS boost blablabla y r u even maging in dung it sux" I like to mage in floors, which is why I use w77 instead of clan most of the time.

1) Imo just get the staff, you will probably be dging a lot more so might as well spend your tokens on something useful. Eventually you should be able to buy all chaotics/prayers/items anyway. You will definitely see a noticeable difference in kills/hr.

2) I would go for t10 berserker first, also from what I have read tier 10 blitzer > tier 10 Blazer.
