What skills gives the best immediate rewards in the 50-60 range?

Featured Replies

I just recently got all my skills to a base 50 and I intend to bring them to a at least 60; but I was wondering if there was a skill that would really help to get first to 60? I don't have a lot of cash at the moment; but I am working on it by doing dailies and herb runs (Toadflax) so if the skill gives some profit or at least doesn't loose too much it would be awesome.

Herb runs is pretty much the only big bucks skill at those levels.

I believe cannonballs also turn a profit still, though they are slooooowwwww even at Port Phasmayts with the med(?) diary reward for double speed.

Other than that you could try mining and banking gold or coal or possible banking logs from wc, but they aren't exactly amazing money for the effort required.

For herblore you can make money and still level up by cleaning the herbs with AHK and making them into unf potions. More if you have the flash powder reward for exp from turning them into unf potions.

For thieving its obviously all profit. But not much.

I would focus on training combat and quests while doing your herb runs and dailies. By the time you get a quest cape you should have a good cash pile. Or work on DC for when you'll eventually want a rapier.

Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3

Nex : 1 Zaryte Bow

Kalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword

Dungeoneering is nice, not so much at 60 but great to get to 70-75, ahead of your combat skills. That way you'll quickly be able to use chaotics when you get the levels to wield them.

Agility theoretically helps train skills with lots of running, but there aren't many so yeah...

Summoning has the kyatt at level 57 which hits insanely well, the very best way to kill Nomad and such.
