June 5, 201214 yr I recieved a slayer task of them and I decided to try the levels 91; but they are horrible so I was wondering if I should try the 167 and if so what kind of gear should I use, also are they cannonable?
June 5, 201214 yr Just pray melee and stand close enough to them so their magic won't rape you. They're usually pretty busy too. And I think you can cannon.
June 5, 201214 yr Definitely do the lvl 167's - their drops are pretty good (for a slayer monster anyway!!). Take some Alch's for all the rune stuff that is dropped & collect the stackables & Royal Hides + Bolts. Wear melee gear & pray mage if you need to.

June 5, 201214 yr See I did the 91s and got 300 royal arrows which sold for 90k and 3 royal dhides which went for like 220k total and then sold some of the other stuff so it wasnt bad
June 6, 201214 yr It costs 20 gp to tan royal dhide. Royal leather is worth 900 gp more than royal dhide. So that's ~880 gp profit. That doesn't seem worth it unless you have a lot of hides.

If yes, it's probably not worth your time, unless dependent on something else, such as merching with lots of cash.
