vleademir
I currently have prom 2h, hood, and csb bound which i'm pretty sure is suggested, but im getting bored with maging :P I was wondering if it is at all practical to range dungs without hexhunter? My stats are in sig
Quest_Cape_K
Yes having atleast 1 hex on a team is extremely useful, you should bind one if you are able to get. However only do this when you have the level required to wield it. Can't read properly, don't range without hex as the dps is too low and other weapons are superior. The_Fray
No for one you will have to bind a grave creeper bow and arrows which is not worth doing especially if you have 2 binds. Your current binds are ideal for your level and experience with dungeoneering. Also just to clarify you should not be maging anything except high level warriors or high level brutes. You should only use your csb to compensate for the few weaknesses your 2h has.
vleademir
I know, sometimes i mage a little more than that though because it makes it more interesting, never slowing the team down, only small things :P

Quyneax
Melee gets bonusus from five slots: weapon, shield, gloves, boots, amulet. Since you use a two-handed weapon, weapon and shield are taken.Magic gets bonusus from all slots, but max hit is affected by only two: weapon and ammo/shield. Everything else is accuracy.Ranged gets bonusus from all slots as well, and max hit only depends on ammo. However you can only fire arrows if you also have a bow. So looking at that, ranged is the easiest to get max raw dps in (tied with magic), melee the hardest. As it is, this is balanced by making it much easier for melee and magic to reach decent accuracy. E.g. don't go all-ranged. You can melee + mage or melee + range, but since you can't bind two kinds of ammo mage + range isn't viable :(. Hedgehog
Range is really weak in dg. The only reason why people use hexes is because of the effect the raw dps is actually very low. On top of that, there are only a few monsters weak to range that aren't also weak to melee (bats).

Arthu
im getting bored with maging :P Ranging isn't much more interesting, I don't think. 99+ all 23rd March 2012 - 2496 total 13th June 2012.9000+ dragon drops! Including draconic visage, d chains, d spears, d2h, d claws, d meds, d legs, d skirts... d bones, d hides :)?I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)? Will H
High level skeletons should be maged and also black demons can be maged aswell. If I'm not mistaken, level 199 Ghosts as well, but only the 199 ones. I've also found it worthwhile to mage particularly tough Fire Giants (level 200+) and Greater Demons. It's all down to filling in the weaknesses of the 2H sword. ~ W ~
