Anyone know a way I can get such a Game Card? I live in the Netherlands.

 

Some friends of mine from the Netherlands took a trip to Germany to get a card.

Easiest way would probably be to trust someone who lives where the cards are sold, and for them to buy you one.

I've been having some problems redeeming my Flaming Skull, so i've been watching the Billing Support forums. In regards to ordering a game card online from GAME, this is what Mod Chef says:

 

"Just so you know, any 90 or 100 day Game Card purchased from GAME will be eligible up to the 15th of July.

 

However, when you purchase a card online and receive the PIN electronically, the card will -not- be eligible for the promotion.

 

If you are ordering a physical Game Card, that will be posted to you, It will be included, but I must stress that you must be sure that you're receiving a physical Game Card to scratch off and enter through the post."

So getting it online from GAME does work after all. That's cool.

Kinda pissed. ALL the EB Games in my area only have standard RS Cards and not these promo one's. Damnit Jagex why can't you just do this via Card. ;___;

 

Do the cards just look normal physical wise? or is it actually a code on their normal card saying "90 Days Purchased EB Games"?

Pretty sure they just look normal. The code will correspond to EB games, and the date you redeem it will effect whether you get the skull.

Bart Smit is on the list as a shop you can buy a card from.

 

I'm going to take my gf on a shopping trip to the Netherlands. (and accidentally pass a Bart Smit to buy a game card :smile: )

[garden tool]! stop right there. I'm from the Netherlands too, and just because I know Jagex doesn't want money from people of some countries , like the Netherlands, I asked a question about the gamecards from the Bart Smit, here's the answer:

So only if they changed it between last saturday and now, Dutch cards won't work. Either way, I'm about 30 mins from a german GameStop store, and, as I did it before, I can confirm that works pretty well *looks at green skin*.

A lot of game stores these days have different or exclusive promotions, it's probably more about the retailers than Jagex.

Someone else posted something similar on another thread, I'm assuming they know more about the legal/marketing specifics than I do.

Hold up there, Bromine. The question was whether or not the cards used for the promotion are different colors or if they are the same thing. Tim lives in Australia, where they are running the promotion, so I answered his question by pointing out that they are the regular cards.

 

It's not my fault if someone doesn't read that their country isn't eligible and buys one. I take no responsibility for the mistakes of others.

Dutch cards never worked. That's why my friends from the Netherlands who wanted the item went to Germany to get a card.
