I now cant play at all except when i go to my friends house, if im having the problem im sure many others are to. I am also a member and dont think my money should be wasted like this.

security filters are nothing to do with jagex

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if ur security filter blocks it put in an exception or get a decent security system rather than one tht is the type of thing a skool uses to block out games etc

Most likely the people who are in control of the filter that you're using has filtered out http://www.runescape.com using a custom filter. I don't think it would have preinstalled settings to block Runescape.

ever think its NOT an option, employer may have set it their, a supervisor from a school, a professor, perhaps a PARENT eve.

If this is on an work or skool computer your skool/employer probably doesn't want you playing games

If not your parents are just using thier better judgement on your behalf and I would say are insane as any home computer that uses such filters for children over about 10 is just ott, in my book

I've tried proxifying runescape before. You can view the web pages just fine, but when you goto load the game itself it freezes when your computer starts to read the java, which is when the filter picks it up. Sadly, can't get around that, so oh well... :(

If ur trying to play from school or work and urbeing blocked, Good. Your ment to do ur school work and study and use the computer for cunstructive purposes like research or writting a paper, you really shouldnt be playing games (though granted i know theres time when theres absolutely nothing else to do) If you at work, then you definately shouldnt be playing runscape...i dont need to go on there.

You said you were a member, so I would assume your parents pay for members, or if your old enough then you pay for it....

 

 

 

in either case, your parents obviousely wouldnt have a problem with you playing rs, so im sure you could tell them ur situation and have it unblocked.

Dont worry you'll find a way past it. I did :twisted: if you can find a admin password for the proxy, (unlikely but i did) you can set it to allow runescape.

yeah its blocked some place, one thing that you can try that works sometimes is to download the official rs client and run it as a program not a web page, but this doesn't always work

People its spelled school, stay in it.

yeh if your trying to play from work or school it will probably not load bc they use alot of filters. why dont you just turn off your filter?

mm good luck. dad blocks it at home but i jusst got the master password by guessing. my friend actualy downloaded a key logger to get his, but i would deffinatly NOT do this, virus etc etc.
