Cutiepie05
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4678368.stm Many people are feared to have died after an Egyptian ferry carrying about 1,400 people sank in the Red Sea. This happened last night, pretty shocking. I think only 100 people have been found and the rest are still missing.

Bubsa
Bad conditions aren't helping the search, 80KM from the coast, wasn't it? I hope everyone's OK, is the cause of the sink still unknown? This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
weezcake
All I've heard about this story is that it was a cruise ship and it mysteriously disappeared off the radar yesterday. I hope for the best for the survivors. Hope they're all found. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring. Phil
Bad conditions aren't helping the search, 80KM from the coast, wasn't it? I hope everyone's OK, is the cause of the sink still unknown? They think it's because of water that got onto the ship which started flowing from one side to the other, making the ship topple over eventually, which has happened before to a car ferry apparently. masterdez
A fire broke out on board and high winds made it spread. Pretty sad story- you would have thought something could have been done. assassin_696
All I've heard about this story is that it was a cruise ship and it mysteriously disappeared off the radar yesterday. From what i've heard it was a roll on roll off ferry, mostly carrying people coming back from...i think it was the Haj pilgrimage? Either way though it's terrible, hopes fading for any survivors, hopefully some will still be found. Iceberg is my fair guess, I saw it in a movie once. *cough* Icebergs in the middle of Egypt, in the Red Sea? Wait is that a pig i see flying over Ardounge? Im sure it was probobly capsized because too many people were on board, over 1500+ were on board from what ive seen. That or Captians error, i heard he made it out just fine. How come all the captians make it out just fine. I thought there was some creed that says "A Good Captian Sinks With His Ship". *shrug*
