awesome_bloodvelds_siggeh.pngpossiblesig11.png

:^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.

Classic bloodveld for lyph3! Although I do like the new ones.

Like a ninja, here I was, gone I am now.

BUT! I may be back! Add my new account, Dr Bloodveld!

I prefer Runescape addiction over my past SOCOM addiction.

I gave the game a nickname of SOCRACK.

I quit Runescape 3 years ago cold turkey. Trust me you will come back after about a year or so.

Anyway, good luck in real life.

seriously, that games sucks! I played it for 2 days, biggest waste of my time..the whole game revolves around fighting, theres absolutly nothing to the skills and you can max you character out in a short amount of time. The game is waaaaay too big and its impossible to find anything, and it gets boring as hell really fast. I'll most likely never play that game again.

you say you dont get addicted to mmorpgs.....runescape is a mmorpg. duh

Dragon Drops: 5 medium helmet, 3 left shield half

Obby: Maul 1, Cape 1, Shield 1

Have you ever read or seen any of their ad campaigns? "Life begins at 60" or "The Game begins at 60" something similar to that (I'm pretty sure it's the first one). You can max out your character quickly because of the fighting which is FUN and involves STRATEGY unlike RS which is point click, if you've got good armour and better stats, you're most likely going to win. The game doesn't end when you get to level 60 you have armor's to collect raids to go on, powerful artifacts and vast landscapes to gain and explore respectively.

I love Runescape very much. I could afford to play WoW but I don't because it is a far more powerful game which can suck you in and you can go on binges (many of my friends were just talking about 9 hour binges on the game and joking around about it whilst I just raised my eyebrow) into the game. I prefer runescape because it can be Free, it's easy to pick up at any time and I've been playing it for several years already and I have a decent character which I want to see grow more and more powerful. Runescape is still in constant development and I'm always waiting to see what Jagex has around a corner, be it a dud or be it the best update ever, I'm willing to take the downs to experience the ups with this "small" community that I've become a part of.

On-topic: Be sure to write down your pass and your username as well as any bank-pin or previous passwords so that in case you want to log back onto your account in a year or two just to reminisce about the days of old. It'd bite if you remembered that you had a great account only to forget everything and have to start anew.

Its all preference, honestly i can't stand the game because its way too big and I don't have the patience to sit and figure it all out. And the combat got really boring really fast and I continued to die constantly which got frustrating (i'd be walking down the road and some random, powerful monster would jump out and kill me). I ended up making about 4 or 5 different characters and tested out all different races and stuff but just couldnt find anything I liked. The game might be for others but its not for me.

rs for life!!! :D

I play rs because I'm addicted to it... my girlfriend is CONSTANTLY tryign to get me off. But most of her fiends are just as "useless" as runescape is...

It's too easy to get cash in WOW. Just go mine and smelt some iron when you start the game. You'll be set forever.

Oh, and after a while...the only fun thing is battlegrounds. If your not a rouge or a paladin you might as well just quit your char.

The shortest ammount of time it takes to get to lvl 60 is 5 days and 12 hours, thats knowing exactly where to train and getting everything perfect, and thats playing strait for 5 days and 12 hours, not to mention, RS you can do anything, in WoW it takes a team to do alot of things, and you can oly have 2 major profetions along with the fact that you can't do everything since your charicter has a set class. Not to mention, between lvl 1 and 20, the game is no fun, as soon as you hit 20, the game starts getting good.

I'll remember my pass and bank-pin aswell as my account name, but I'd rather just start a new char. I cleared out my bank, and it would be no fun just jumpng into a char thats already at a boring poitn of th game, not to mention I'd be cutting yews for mounths to get my stuff back, or better yet, to turn into yew longs and alch to 99 magic, lol, jk. Anyway I'm probly done with RS for good.

bye,gl with WoW
