OT: I've head that TD's are rather hard to kill now with the switching mechanics, maybe someone with a little more recent experience can elaborate.

 

EDIT: On top of that, claws aren't worth much anymore, if your looking for decent gp/hour there are better options.

A lot of TDs valuable drops have been kinda killed.

Frankly if I were you id go and aim for barrows if I were lazy or QBD if I wanted serious cash and was willing to work a bit for it.

No clue about gp/h because I don't know the real price of limbs. I can see no reason they would be valuable, for two reasons:

1) Tier 60 equipment sucks.

2) Red salamanders are cheap and just as good.

 

Your stats & void don't matter too much anyway, it's all about weapons. But assuming t80 weapons and decent skill, I imagine 40-50 kph should be doable.

The value of limbs isn't clear. They're valuable in the sense that they are rare, and frankly how long have we been asking for a freaking dragon xbow?

Finally get a dragon cross bow, and it sucks. Fml Jagex. But I digress.

Considering the salamanders as Quy pointed out, it seems to me that the value is cosmetic/collecting.

Which admittedly, can fetch some pretty high prices. Peeps love dem cosmetic stuffz.

As you can tell if you saw my character in game wearing elegant clothes and a black cavalier with a rune cane.... Which honestly doesn't cost much anymore...

 

For money though, honestly, I would go kill QBD. She's a lot more fun and she's very consistent money of 2m+/h.

Or AFK at armadyl :P.

Not to butt in, but is void usable at Arma (soulsplit, overloads, yak/unicorn)? Or is full Armadyl better...?

Me too, since it seems TDs aren't a good idea. Soloing Zamorak/Bandos is hard because every world is almost full, so are the sara/armadyl bosses any better? And could I use void on them?

I have honestly no clue as to how full sara/armadyl bosses are as of lately.

But I would assume they're camped pretty hard just like zammy/bandos. And I know with the right gear you could last forever at armadyl.

 

At anyrate, could you solo arma in void with ss, ovls, and yak/uni? Yes.

Though initially my afk armadyl comment was in jest :P. It's certainly possible with your gear. Just be careful.

GF'ing void = 8 hours of absolute boredom.....

TDs are extremely easy considering that using the correct prayers reduce their damage to 1. Soul splitting, however, is highly unadvised.

I also find it easier to just Momentum them. Build up Momentum at Lumbridge dummies then head for TDs and spam abilities to get it back up after 20 minutes.

 

I tend to go in full void with Royal crossbow and Armadyl battlestaff, casting Fire surges, with a Unicorn and using holy water to remove their shield.

By relying on Momentum, you can really focus your action bar on switching gear and prayers, making camping very easy.
