PolarBearBlue
No She's a solo only boss I'm afraid. Damn. I guess I'll have to work up to gettig that then. On the same note, what would be a near equal/equal range weapon to use?I have heard that Armadyl Cbow isn't bad as well as Karil's.Which would you all suggest? And I'm curious as to why (if you wish to explain). The royal crossbow is a tier 80 bolt range weapon, so and equal weapon is the chaotic crossbow.Armadyl and Karil's are tier 70 but good range bolt weapons. However, Arma is expensive and Karil's degrade so a much cheaper alternative to both is the Black Salamander. It is the same tier so it has the same accurancy and damage. But like Karil's and bolt racks, you can only use Harralander tar as ammo. As for TWW question, that is not all the rewards. You get a cosmetic item and 6th age circuit for doing all those listed quest above, as well as new slayer monsters which also drop new gloves for each class and a pet. Also doing RotM allows you to upgrade your Bulmung to a stronger weapon which I hear is good alround and great on Dags. Quyneax
The QBD isn't very tough, you can easily get to the fourth stage and brandish the crossbow. Stage 4 is where the real damage happens :P. Galco
5) You can skill whenever, just know you won't be able to do certain things until a certain level. For example, unless you have super antifires, it's better to block dragon task. Also, solo GWD is hard without 92 prayer. I disagree with this.Even without super anti-fires dragons are easy to kill. The only dragon worth mentioning as somewhat difficult is mithril dragon(Unless we count Wyverns into this), and that's difficult regardless of super anti-fire.For metal dragons, bronze-steel, wear ahrims + staff of light, stay melee distance, use your normal antifire pot, protect melee, and own them. For Mithril dragons, just use an antifire pot and hit them, they don't use dfire often enough for it to matter. For say, black dragons, use a crystal bow, and anti-fire pot, and protect magic. They go down pretty fast and you don't take much damage. At least that's what i've been doing this entire time with my crappy 60 herblore :P Now as for what you should do.I think you should focus on doing some quests: Branches of Darkmeyer, Summers End, Sir Amik Varze Recipe for disaster subquest, and Eadgar's ruse to name the one's important for good money making methods around your level.Branches for the amazing teleports to barrows and Burgh de Rott, this is a pretty consistent money making method. About 1m/hr depending on luck. The RFD subquest opens up evil chicken's lair and Black dragons atm are about 600k/hr consistently + w.e else for lucky drops.Summers end opens up Corpreal beast, corp isn't so good on the money/hr but it does come with the possibility of very large drops with your group, and I typically made 2.1m+ daily there even without the large drops. Not to mention it's fun :P.Eadgar's ruse for easier access to the GWD. I suggest you work your way up to 95 prayer and get some chaotics. Rapiers if you plan on doing KK, Maul/ claws if you don't.Though people would probably let you by with a maul at KK. I know I certainly don't care :P. constrictor
Thanks for the quest suggestions I will begin those soon. Cape question:I have access to an untrimmed skillcape, but would fire cape be a better option? If so any one willing to post a gear setup/guide? That'd be awesome (I may go for it tomorrow depending on how much time I have)! muziclab
chenw
IF you are melee'ing, fire cape is marginally better, otherwise, especially in places where you'll be switching weapons often, 99 capes are better. 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. Ammako
The unbelievably high armour on a skillcape makes it worth using over Fire cape imo.Of course, if you're going to do something where armour matters very little, might as well sacrifice some armour for the extra crit bonus. Well take into account, that it is an untrimmed Skillcape. I maybe remembering this in correctly, but when last I heard, untrimmed Skillcapes have little to no bonus for armor, where as the trimmed had prayer bonus/etc. This was probably pre-eoc so it may have changed, but is that still the case? Someone link me to an eoc caves guide? :D muziclab
Ammako
Can't you, like, check the armour bonuses on your cape?
constrictor
Can't you, like, check the armour bonuses on your cape? I spoke with Draggle, and according to him, the fire cape is not really worth getting unless you are getting one to get the kiln cape (I am blanking on the name right now). Almost at 70 Prayer, and then I starting some quests. muziclab
Quyneax
TokHaar-Kal is the cape, but everyone calls it kiln cape anyway (or armadillo cape). Fire cape is also good for getting jad pets (99 slay/summ & 100 zeal) and it's the designated cape to wear with gold mining equipment. You should get a few slaying if Kuradal is your slayer master. Well it is a low-priority now. Untrimmed FM'ing cape seems to be working fine. Going to finish the Myerque quest line today and hopefully finish King's Ransom and then do the Knight Waves.Anyone have any for Knight Waves? muziclab
Quyneax
I imagine it's a lot easier now since you can heal with resonance/rejuv/guthix butterfly. Depending on how much defence they have, bring mage or melee gear and a high-tier melee weapon, off-hand and shield, some attack/strength pots (maybe def) and the rest food.
